solid choice coffee maker
amazing, havent had a single issue with it.. the coffee temperature is perfect for me with great taste as expected from a ninja product, the appearance seems rather simple with very good ease of cleaning, i havent found any leakage since i purchased it a while ago and have used it regularly

Great coffeemaker
Great coffeemaker! We have a built in system at home and needed something that makes a good quality cup of coffee for our vacation home. The Ninja was just exactly what we were looking for. It is compact enough to keep on the countertop. The coffee it makes is really, really good too! Rivals our way more expensive built in at home. We like the option of brewing a whole pot or just one cup. You will need to buy a stainless single serve pod. Not sure why Ninja wouldn't include one.

I like this one!
Had this for a while now and I'm not disappointed. It's a champ! I'm glad I decided on this one. Water tank can be attached to side or back as desired. And, can be changed. Brews nice and hot.

Disappointing
My father was a coffee salesman, so I’ve been drinking coffee over 50 years, a tradition I’ve passed on to our children as well. I previously owned an earlier model of the Ninja which brewed perfect cups of coffee 4 to 8 times a day for over seven years before that sad day came when it was time to retire it and search for a new coffee maker. I was hoping to buy the same model, but it had been long discontinued. I searched for the new Ninja models and settled upon the CFP101. What a disappointment. The only thing I like about this machine is the option to brew K-Cups. Here's the shortcomings. 1. The carafe leaks when you pour. 2. It does not brew a consistent amount of coffee into your cup. I use the same mug every morning and sometimes it fills the mug with the 8oz setting and sometimes it only fills it halfway at the same setting, with various levels in between. 3. The brewed coffee is not hot. Lukewarm at best. I'm not looking to pour molten lava into my cup, but I expect a steaming hot cup of coffee as every other coffee maker I've ever owned produces. With this brewer I have to take my cup of coffee and put it on a mug warmer to bring it up to the desired temperature. I've owned several Ninja products over the years and have always been happy with them, so I didn't even consider other brands when I was looking for a new one. Based on the 5 star reviews I've read in for this model I presume I got a defective unit? Regardless, this is the last Ninja product I will buy.

Almost perfect
I bought this to replace a 10+ year old Keurig that finally gave out, and so far this has been not just a worthy replacement, but a pretty nice upgrade as well. The build quality feels solid, and it’s much easier to clean than my old Keurig. In the Keurig, loose grounds and water would sometimes spill out into the area around the top of the k-cup holder, which could be difficult to clean. In the Ninja, that whole area where grounds used to accumulate pops out easily and can be cleaned in either the sink or the dishwasher, though I haven’t even seen any loose grounds there yet. Despite having a lot of options, this thing is also pretty easy to figure out, and has a nice little beep to let you know when your coffee’s ready. The drip stopper switch is also really satisfyingly clunky, which I know a lot of people won’t care about, but I appreciate. The coffee quality is great, provided you’re using good quality beans or k-cups. I’ve tried some single-serve coffee makers that don’t seem to ever make good coffee, regardless of what you put in them, so I’m glad this one isn’t like that. My only complaints are that it doesn’t have a low-water warning, it just stops mid-brew and beeps several times if it runs out, and it makes a high-pitched whine when it’s brewing, almost like a dog whistle. Most people I don’t think would even notice that, but I hace more sensitive hearing than most people, so it kinda bothers me, but not enough to ruin it by any means. Overall, I’d highly recommend it

Good product, some reservations
First, I should note that I just got this machine and have only used it 3 times so far, twice to make a half-carafe of water to use for tea, and once to make a cup of coffee using a k-pod. I am also fairly new at drinking coffee and tea, so please bear both those things in mind when reading my comments. My first concern was that there was NO instruction manual included. I don't know whether that was an oversight - certainly the machine is involved enough that I felt a manual was essential. Thankfully my husband was able to find the manual online and print it out. But there wasn't even anything included to tell us to look online for the manual. Second concern is the sizes - the sizes are WEIRD and make no sense - they say 1/4 carafe is 28 ounces, 1/2 carafe is 37 ounces, 3/4 carafe is 46 ounces, and full carafe is 55 ounces. As a math major, this particularly bothers me, but honestly this makes no sense: if full carafe is 55 ounces, 1/2 carafe should be 27-1/2 ounces, NOT 37 ounces. I do NOT understand these. I used 1/2 carafe to make hot water to fill two large tea mugs (about 16 ounces each), and that worked well. Cup sizes are 8, 10, 12, 14, and 18 ounces - 16 ounces is what we usually want for tea, so it's disappointing that one was not an option, but I can live with doing 14 ounces, OR using the 1/2 carafe when both my husband and I are doing tea. So those are the two issues I have found so far - missing instruction manual and strange sizes. But on the good news side, it seems easy to operate (even for someone like me who isn't super talented at using fancy equipment), and it's certainly quick and easy to boil water for tea (we had been boiling water in a pot on the stove, which also isn't hard, but this is easier and don't have to watch to see when it boils).

Obsessed!
I bought this because of its size — I have a smaller countertop that I needed a coffee machine to fit on. I love that this has the ability to make full pots and single serve. My coffee never tasted better! The machine is sleek, easy to use and worth the price tag.

Good machine
Changed out a bulky keurig for this one and handles brewing so much better. Compact but has a large water tank, the water screen has a good design for even distribution. I like the modularity in going from grounds to cups and the interface is simple and easy to use. Would buy again
