TRUFF White Truffle Hot Sauce, 1.5 OZ

This isn't the hottest sauce, so if you're here for heat, try the red. But the flavor is fantastic, and it does still pack a pretty decent kick. This is probably my 5th or 6th time buying this sauce, and I'm not usually loyal to condiments. It's great on eggs, pizza, rice dishes, veggies, you name it ~anything that could use a little punch of spicy-umami with a tiny hint of sweetness. Uh, my mouth is watering 😅

I will be frank from the get-go and say that I do not love super-spicy foods, but I have a decent tolerance. I prefer spice to be an element of my meal, rather than an overriding quality. For me, this is the IDEAL hot sauce - spicy, sweet, salt, umami, NOT vinegary. It's a great quirky host(ess) gift to bring to a dinner instead of wine, too, because of the beautiful packaging. If you already know TRUFF hot sauces, this is extremely similar. Compared to the black sauce, I think it has more complexity of flavor with a better balance between the taste elements. To me, the truffle is a little more defined (but mellow, because it's white truffle), it's a tad sweeter, and the spice is slightly less. It's the least hot of the three options, and I find that it doesn't overpower more subtle dishes. It is my favorite of the TRUFF hot sauces and worth a few extra bucks as an occasional indulgence over the others. If you don't already know TRUFF, but you're a fan of truffles, you're probably going to love this. It's not so much about upping the spice as it is upping the flavor. Yes, it tastes kind of earthy-funky - it's made with truffles. It takes basic foods like eggs and hash-browns to a gourmet level, and it justifies the occasional theft of your kids' chicken nuggets. Having said that, if you want to start somewhere with TRUFF, I'd probably go with their standard black or red. You'll discover whether or not you like the "family" without spending the extra cash. I think the black and red (hotter) are pretty much identical except for spice levels, so go with whichever level is better for you. How great are TRUFF sauces? My husband and I were gifted the black sauce at Christmas (unlike me, my husband and the gift giver are both the "do the hot-wings challenge then lick the plate" hot-sauce fans). We had finished the bottle by early February, and we BOTH unknowingly bought sets for each other for Valentine's Day - that's how much we both love them! Delicious hot sauce

One of our favorite hot sauces. Great flavor and just hot enough.

It's a thick, slightly sweet hot sauce. More in line with a Sriracha. Not good for Mexican food...its missing the acidity for that cuisine. Great on eggs, omelettes, meats and Asian foods that stand up to the slight sweetness. The heat is just right and it doesnt linger for a long time which I appreciate. We have almost finished the whole bottle...we will be buying more.

Honestly, if you're someone who goes to little side show shops and buys the hottest flavor of artificial tasting sauce only to burn your mouth and remove taste, then don't buy this and certainly don't review it. I am someone who often cooks with ghost peppers so I'm no stranger to heat. But heat is worthless if you can't enjoy the flavors of not only what you're eating but the sauce itself. This is not the hottest sauce you'll ever eat. It's not even hotter than the Truff Red (Which is a go to of mine), but the flavor mixture in this sauce is absolutely astonishing. So much so that I'm finding it hard to figure out what is worthy of it. It's the perfect mixture of flavor, truffle, and spice and I go through it way too fast (My only complaint). If you are a fan of flavor, this is worth the risk of spending thirty some dollars. I recommend trying the Black and Red labels first just to make sure truffle hot sauce is your thing. But if you really like those, you'll love this.

Truff is great! We love the flavor and use it on lots of stuff. The white is a nice, slightly lighter version of the original black. The red is kicked up but won't kill you. My only complaint is pouring out of the massive opening in the bottle, that is a wreck waiting to happen. We pour it up in a condiment bottle to drizzle, you just have to get the tip just right so it doesn't clog but also doesn't pour straight out. We keep buying it@

I love this hot sauce so much. I’m the only one to use it in my house and I think the flavor is so much better than the black truffle version. I put it on almost everything but my favorite is on pizza and pastas with white sauce.

This is a really nice hot sauce, a bit pricy but really enjoyable.

Very flavorful sauce that’s has a great, non-overpowering heat. It’s on the milder side of the other flavors. Use it on any food that you want to spice up. It’s also my go to gift idea if I don’t know what to get someone. Hasn’t let me down yet. Love it and the others flavors!

My daughter’s favourite!

This stuff is very flavourful. I've tried it on mozzarella sticks, a mushroom omelette and a white cheddar grilled cheese. It's fantastic. This might be a regional thing for Amazon, but I ordered this one and the winter Truff on separate days. Neither one of them came in the fancy box you see in the ad. The bottles were just wrapped up in bubble wrap and in an Amazon envelope. A box would be nice for gifting..
