Perfect for nautical decor for a bar, kids room or man cave. Also very suited for teaching scouts about nautical signal flags. The flags come in a carry sack/organizer which is great for quick use, travel, or displaying your nautical signal flags.

Many homes in our new neighborhood fly house flags. Figured I might as well use the flapole that came with the house but couldn't bring myself to fly the sappy flags most neighbors put up. So I got this complete 40-flag set instead. In the International Code of Signals, every 2-letter combo corresponds to a complete sentence of use to seafarers, as if spoken directly from captain to captain. If present, a following number modifies the sentence. With the "XE8" combo in the photo, a captain reports that she's seeing swell that's both high and long-period. For surfers, that's the best kind, so in this beach town, XE8 really means, "Surf's up, dude!" Nerdy? You bet. Fun? Absolutely. So far, the flags have survived half a dozen winter Pacific storms intact. Quality is good for the price. Use a permanent marker to darken the identifying number or letter printed in the corner of each flag.

I like the organization of the yellow pouches. The flags were crisp and clear, but if they are left out, they will begin to weather. I left mine out for a summer as decoration around my pool, and the flags began to crack. I understand this is not the intended use of the flags.

Each flag is a separate device. You can string them together properly (Random Flag-flag-pennant...) easily. There is enough line on each flag that a string over 60' long can be made. They look smart and dress ship nicely. We use these in our club on boats up to 50' long and still have extra flags. Great set. In the photo is my 36' Storebro dressed with these flags for a parade and I still had about 12 flags in reserve. BTW, each flag is labelled what it represents as a stamp on the white hem and the organizer is also labelled so you can store them easily.

No a pro set, but good enough to domestic race comittees and for boat dressing

This product says Made in the USA but when thy arrived, the tag said made in china and they look a lot like the cheaper ones. Shocked and disappointed in Taylor made and Lippert!

said it included hurricane flags it didn’t and these are smaller than imagined not the easiest idea way to hang

I fly these flags to represent the first letter of each of my grandchildren's names. Since they are up every day all summer they only last a year.

The flags seem to be fairly ok quality, but the pockets are way too small. Once you take out the flag from the pocket, it is hard to get them folded tightly back in. If you plan to have all flags out and not use the yellow pockets at all, then it is ok. But if you want to use some flags and always put them back in their pockets after use, then this product is not for you.

Excelente producto. Puede ser urilizado para adornar lugares con un toque nautico. Las banderas son alco chicas, depende para que es que se adquiera. Lo recomiendo
