This book is a must-read for every person who is touched by disability in their lives. Special educators, physical therapists, persons with disabilities, etcetera, must add this enjoyable, insightful and revolutionary read on what it means to have a disability and how our thinking needs to change about disability. I am studying to become a special educator and this book literally changed my life by forever and profoundly deepening my perspective on persons with disabilities.

I loved the way this book was written. Clear, conscise and very practical. A must for those who work with children with challenges.

This is an excellent book and should be an addition to every teacher's library!

I bought this book for an education course on including students with disabilities in general education classrooms, and I found it to be the most useful of several textbooks and articles that were assigned. Not only did it address the major topics in inclusion, but its open-ended, thought-provoking approach also engaged me more than a standard textbook would. I expect to refer back to it frequently while teaching.

Such an informative book, with an easy read.

This was a book I needed for Grad School. It was a good value, but the book is a paper weight now. No point. Whatever. LoL.

This book has a wealth of information on special education, disabilities, and correlated teaching practices. The price is a bit much in my opinion for a paperback, which is why I rented it instead of buying for my education course. However if or when the prices drop, I intend to purchase the book.
