I'm confused. How do you remove a ding or dent by tapping down on it with a hammer? Won't that create a dent?

These are great for dents that are tight that won't pull out like a door hit. You'll never pull or push a dent like that out until you tap down the crown around the dent. Tapping down the crown will bring the dent back out.

Where can I find instructions for use?

YouTube has several videos on how to use it. There’s also some basic instructions in the kit.

Do you need to purchase claw and slide hammer separately?

Yes, The slide hammer is not included.
