The Casio FX-991CW Scientific Calculator is absolutely brilliant for maths and science students. It’s fast, accurate, and packed with so many useful functions that make complex calculations much easier. The screen is very clear and easy to read, especially for fractions and equations, and the buttons feel comfortable and responsive. I also love the modern design and how lightweight it is to carry around for school or exams. Perfect for GCSE, A-Level, and university work. Excellent quality and definitely worth the money. Highly recommended!

I was a bit disturbed by the price, but now that I'm using it I'd say it is worth it. It is lightweight, and seems qualitative if handled well. It came with guide on how to use it, so I will figure it out

Best exam-safe Casio calculator. This is the latest version (early 2026) of the 991 model, featuring the ClassWise (CW) interface, which is easier for secondary school students. Contains many useful features, such as variables. Plasticky in its construction, both case and keys. The screen is pretty OK. It comes with a cover, but not soft sleeve, or other case, but you can find such things in the market. Hybrid power via non-rechargeable lithium battery (which should be changed every two years) and light. Lack of programing, wired or wireless interfaces, CAS and data storage (except for a few numeric variables) make it exam-safe for most countries that allow calculators in exams. Otherwise, don't bother buying it, get a math app for a smartphone. Good VFM.

version casio 991ex améliorée. Ecran avec contrastes simultanés gris clair gris foncé et noir rendant le tableur plus facile à lire. Les fonctions sont mieux regroupées et rendent l'ensemble plus ergonomique. Plus de 570 fonctions mathématiques et un solveur très efficace. Par contre manque les calculs modulaires. Le couvercle n'est pas coulissant mais vient se clipser prenant l'ensemble moins épais. Ensemble robuste et très bien fini. Mode d'emploi sur téléphone . Le logiciel gratuit ClassPad Math sur téléphone permet de voir l'allure des résultats des courbes en scannant le QR sur la calculatrice Pour l'instant très satisfait de mon achat.
