Great fit my dog (22kg for reference for size L) - the size chart was helpful. Comfy fit, doesn’t rub him. Held up well walking through the mountains and easy to get on and off whilst being secure enough to stay on the dog - use the handle to pick him up into the car, very sturdy. Looks good

We currently have three dogs, a medium sized 7 year old adult rescue cross, a full grown male German shepherd and now we have bought one for our 7 month old German shepherd x St Bernard. We first bought one when our adult male was a puppy and saw him through a few sizes. Our puppy had smaller cheaper harnesses, mainly due to the fact I knew because of her breed she would rapidly outgrown them. Now that she is getting bigger I thought it was a good time to get the harness on her. What I like about these is the versatility. There are so many colour options out there and available. The sizes overlap so you don’t have to be in that awkward is it this size or this size position. And the Velcro labels mean you can communicate with others. We’ve found it hard when you have a cute little puppy that’s training to keep people from squealing and coming towards them. Our puppy we have at the moment was a rescue and came from serious neglect and has needed a lot of training, so while I encourage people to say hello, I need it to be done on her terms so a nice “please ask before you pet” label will be spot on for her. Likewise my adult male uses an “anxious, do not pet” label because that’s what he needs. I also like the handle on their back. Perfect for reaching down and having that extra hold on them in certain situations. I’ve used it with my medium size dog to pick him up quickly countless times. The D ring on ours have all been metal - I can imagine if the D ring is plastic and you have a big dog or one that pulls that it won’t last very long! These are sturdy and well built with quality materials. I’ve seen some knock off versions and they very quickly start to look like the fabric or Velcro is wearing. I think these are a must, particularly if you have a big dog. Our oldest dog doesn’t use this as what we connect him to when walking, but he wears one so I have the extra handle to grab hold of and the labels asking people to leave him alone. The only thing I’d say with these is I found my older German shepherd became a puller and he liked the “drag” walking with a harness gave him, so when we trained him not to pull we used an alternative method. If you’re looking for a harness, julius k9 harnesses are the way to go.

Very sturdy harness good quality value for money

This is a very well made item, fits perfectly for our 44kg Weimeraner who looks great in it.😊

Wanted a replacement harness for our Maltese. Did loads of research and chose this one. Positives: strong, choice of colours, good handle option. However, downsides not a fan of the Velcro underneath strap wish it wasn’t Velcro although it does seem strong, the plastic ring at the top (wish it was metal to be more safer and stronger, and I don’t like the “Julia’s-K9” branding on the side of the harness. I know u can take it off but I think the entire harness could be made more softer for the dog and pliable and less name advertising. Having said that all other harnesses had some fault so u don’t think they have made one yet to tick all the boxes. So far this harness is ok but using two leads in case the top clip snaps as plastic.

I found it very difficult to find the perfect harness for my border collies. They both pull, and get over excited. So I definitely needed a harness that would be secure. Juilus K9 harness was absolutely perfect. Both my collies are medium size, and the harnesses fitted so perfect. It's easy to put on, and to know that you have a handle on the harness, so if you came into contact with other dogs, you can secure your pet, gave me great relief. These harnesses are perfect, and I strongly recommend.

Great colour and perfect fit

We have an adolescent Boxer and was a bit concerned that the single buckle under the dogs body, would just release her if it came undone. We got around our fears by linking the harness to the dogs lead and for safety. We needn't have bothered as the buckle seems really sturdy and made to last. The harness itself is very well made and fits our dog perfectly and appears to be comfortable for her on even long walks. The lead connection ring is large and looks like it could handle a very large dog, providing confidence for both the dog and the walker. I have given 5 stars even though the price was greater than many similar offerings, but I am glad I paid the extra.

So there are things I love about this vest and things I wish were different. Overall I am very happy with it and think it is priced well for the quality. I ordered this vest because my therapy dog is a Great Dane and Danes like to lean. I needed something with a handle so I could control his body a bit better. This is not a front attach/no pull harness. If your dog is not great at loose leash walking then you need to get something else. I got the size 4 for my almost 2yr old great dane. It is adjusted to the smallest size and has plenty of room for growth. Pros: - Great look. - Very good quality/Sturdy. - Reflective areas add better visibility. - Velcro patches/labels that can be switched out easily. I ordered a therapy dog and master of disaster label (for when he is not working). - Ability to add side bags. - Fully adjustable. - Sits farther away from the armpits unlike a lot of other harnesses reducing the risk of irritation. - Has slot to add a flashlight. - Handle allows you better control over your dog. Cons: - As someone else mentioned, the velcro front strap adjustment is on the inside which means you have to remove the vest every time to make even the slighted adjustment. - Velcro front seems very sturdy but would make me nervous with a big powerful dog. Not sure how it would hold up long term with a really big puller. - The fit of the front strap goes across the shoulders which in my opinion is not ideal as it interferes with the movement of the dog. I am not concerned about this because most of the time he is just standing while wearing it however I don't know if I would do a lot of jogging with this vest. I know people get this for running with their dogs and I would think something that does not lay on the shoulder blades would be better. In all I really like the vest and it is great for our purpose. I am impressed with the quality and love the side labels. I have added pictures because I spent probably an entire day trying to decide if I should get black or not. I was afraid the vest would disappear on a black dog. I am happy I went with the black in the end. It is not screaming for attention but not invisible either. The labels stand out and can be read from a distance.
