A good food safe for an allergic cat - I'd just like to know the taurine content.
Last year I rescued a young cat who is allergic to....everything. Except turkey (and apparently kangaroo. This is a new experiment. Cross your fingers). This is one of the very few dry foods she can eat without her skin reacting. Pure turkey dry food are not easy to find so we are grateful JW does one. She does like it - she's not a greedy cat anyway, but she eats it happily enough - though she still hankers after the forbidden fish food that my senior (who has the constitution of an ox and looks set to live forever) enjoys. My one complaint is I'd like to see the taurine content per kg printed on the bag. Since I got this girl I've really had to educate myself on what cats need. Taurine is essential for them as they can't produce it in their bodies. It occurs in meat and many brands also state on the bag how much is added. For a food to be labelled complete it must meet minimum requirements but I'd still like to know. Anyway, she's been eating it for a year now and she is healthy and happy, so they must be getting something right!

My cats love it
I feed all my pets on James Wellbeloved. Like all cats, mine are fussy and something they'll eat one day they won't eat the next. This is the exception; they'll always eat it. They both have lovely thick, shiny fur and look really healthy. I just wish the dog wasn't stealing so much of it!

It smells so good, I could almost eat it myself. The ingredients are very interesting - chicory in it My cats look very healthy when they eat it and care comes first! One of my cats also gets sore gums (she refuses to eat soft meat foods) and these biscuits are smaller than usual which she finds easier to chew. Wish the French produced it under license, as postal costs are high.
