Lakeland Super Absorbent Floor & Door Mat, 80cm x 60cm - Slate Grey

This is an absolutely brilliant mat. Classic case of you get what you pay for. I have had loads of door mats and they have all been terrible quality and barely lasted a few months. The quality of this mat is outstanding. It's so well made, brilliant non slip bottom, lovely soft top which is very absorbent, it looks nice and the sizes are brilliant, I got it in the large for back doors and standard for front door. I love Lakeland products altogether, the quality is always top notch. I'd much rather pay more to begin with so it lasts and actually does the job than have to keep buying cheap mats over and over again. Highly recommend!

Best mats ever, does exactly what they are made to do, no more wet foot prints on the vinyl floor and no dirt, would highly recommend and quick delivery thank you guys.

You'd think that it'd be tricky to wax lyrical about a humble door mat but this, albeit a bit pricey, Lakeland item is brilliant! It completes my 'coming indoors with wet and muddy feet' regime perfectly. The outdoor mat removes the crud and this indoor one deals almost completely with the wet soles. Previously, the coir mat (now outside) left wet footmarks on the kitchen tiles; now at worst, I get just a few damp spots due to the mega absorbency of the Lakeland product. The slate colour ties in nicely with my floor tiles (see pics) and there's a nice spin off - it's very soft and comfortable under bare feet! As said, a little pricey but for me, well worth the money. Recommended!

Purchased this mat to go just inside the back door on the wood flooring to stop grit etc from damaging the surface and preventing slipping from wet shoe bottoms. It does everything we wanted it to do and is not that thick so the pantry door opens over the top of it still. The mat seems of good quality and well made and we have not noticed any bits of the mat coming away after 4 weeks use. Very pleased with it so far

Wish this door mat didn’t have the black plastic strip around the edge. But is certainly absorbent and soaks up the water from shoes and wellies. Haven’t washed it yet, but vacs ok.

This is worth the money! A really good door mat it never slips is easy to Hoover and cleans well. It may not be the Rolls Royce of doors mats but it is not far from it. I recommend this product

This is the perfect size for my hall and has stayed put on my laminate floor. Not had it in the washing machine yet but so far I’ve been impressed.

I have bought a number of door mats in the past and have always been disappointed with their absorbency. Reading the reviews for this mat on Amazon and Lakeland sites I decided to take the plunge, yes at £30 it is expensive but is by far the best mat I have tried. Its super absorbent and wet shoes are quickly dried. Its thick and a decent size. I have not tried to wash it yet but have no reason to doubt the reviews.
