These are great for getting rid of mice and mostly safe outdoors. The darn squirrels try to get the bait inside! I saw one in the tree out my sliding glass door chewing and shaking trying to get the bait out! I had it hidden behind something but the little stinker found it. I don’t want to kill squirrels, just the mice. I hid it better and a few days ago it was in my yard not too far from where I had it. It was empty so maybe the squirrel decided not to mess with it. Other than that, it works well. The mice eat the bait, and no more mice.

Worked sooner than expected. First our little dog tried to get into the bait station and she couldn't. So I placed that bait station under the stove. Second, a dead mouse appeared two days after placing the bait stations. I was hoping to check in a week to look for chewed bait blocks but a dead mouse is definite proof.

Picked up this set of mouse stations to deal with some unwanted houseguests and it's got some clever features. The keyless unlock is handy, no fumbling for tiny keys every time. That weatherproof design means you can pop these outside without worry. The size is good, fits nicely in corners without being too obvious. Now for the not-so-smooth parts - while they claim to be for all size mice, I found some of the bigger ones couldn't quite squeeze in. The plastic feels sturdy but has a bit of a cheap look up close. That tight seal is great for safety, but makes checking if you've caught anything a bit of a hassle. The black color blends in well, but also makes it easy to forget where you've placed them. If you're looking for a discreet way to handle a mouse problem without the snap of traditional traps, these could be worth a shot. Just be prepared for the ick factor of dealing with any catches. They've been decent at keeping the mouse population down, but definitely not a set-it-and-forget-it solution.
