I didn’t want it to split completely open so I grab this kit and used the wound closure with the zip ties. I cleaned it the antiseptic wipes and then cleaned the skin with the alcohol wipes. Then put the closure on it, pulled the zip ties and it closed right up. I was able to see my regular Dr the next day and he told me I did the smart thing by using it. He was absolutely amazed by it. He also said the ER Dr should not have removed the stitches this soon. So I’ve showered with it and been keeping it covered and it has not come off at all. What is the expiration date?** A: The zip stitch has 3-year shelf life.
