Waring Pro WMK200 Belgian Waffle Maker, Stainless Steel/Black [DISCONTINUED]

My husband wanted to go out for waffles one morning and I suggested we buy this instead and have waffles whenever we want them with out leaving the house. It was one of the best decisions we've ever made!! This waffle iron is great. It's easy to use, cleans up well, is light weight, and makes delicious waffles. We've gotten addicted to making brownies in this waffle iron and they are such a hit that my 4 year old grandson had them instead of cake at his birthday dinner. I especially like that the handle on the measuring cup is open so I can hang it on the inside of my batter bowl and avoid messes. I have used this with many different recipes. We've tried several gluten-free recipes, chocolate waffle recipes, brownie batter recipes... We've always been quite satisfied.

I have been wanting a waffle iron for some time now and my wife surprised me with this guy on Fathers Day. We love it! It's very easy to clean for a waffle iron. The non-stick surface does a phenomenal job! The pan underneath to catch drippings is well made and easy to clean. When following the instructions on using the cup to fill the waffle iron with batter, we get perfect waffles that taste delicious! We've not had any drippings fall out the sides. The only thing that the pan has caught are crumbs from the other "non-waffle" dishes we've made in this thing. It's very well built and stores nicely. It is the perfect waffle iron for us!

I loved this waffle maker. I made tons of waffles and even corn muffins. I ate waffles for dinner...but no more. Seven weeks later it died while on the job. My husband was making waffles...the first two cooked fine but for some reason it just quit working. I have an email in to Waring about a warranty replacement but for now, I cannot channel my inner Leslie Knope. Update: Waring sent a warranty replacement. I use it almost every day. This morning I noticed the plastic housing where it hinges is broken. What the heck? I'll use it but I'm going to shop for a different brand. So while this iron makes great waffles I cannot recommend it.

I'm pretty happy with this waffle iron. The waffles are cooked pretty fast and consistently. I like the adjustable temperature setting and the depth of the iron. My only issue with the waffle iron is that it doesn't make a sound when the "ready" light turns on. I wind up setting a separate timer and checking it every 1-2 minutes.

We purchased this as a gift for the daughter-in-law. We have an older version of this and absolutely love it..... makes the BEST waffles. Give it 10 stars for ease of clean up. May not seem like a big deal, but this waffle maker comes with a little measuring cup. Fill it to the line and you will have zero mess running out the sides. Typically just wipe it with a paper towel and put it away. Would suggest buying a blender bottle with it. Dump in the waffle mix and shake. Close the cap to store any leftover batter in the fridge for the next day.

It is OK. I expected a better quality. It feels flimsy. It does not make the waffles crisp on the outside even on the highest setting, and does not evenly brown the waffle. I think the it is a bit pricey for the quality. When this one quits I will look elsewhere. I find that when I flip the waffle iron over to cook the other side I get a "volcano action" from the sides. The batter will spirt out while it is releasing the steam, and I am not overfill the iron. I use the provided measuring cup. The attached photo was cooked on level 5 with only 6 settings.

Performed beautifully so much s that I ordered another for my granddaughter and she loves hers,too. Not only that , it's SO fast and can use a mix from the supermarket. I found Krusteaz Belgian Waffle Mix which so light and delicious. Then I tried a whole wheat blend pancake mix and that worked great,too. My granddaughter sent me a picture of a waffle she made with the waffle maker I sent her and she put fruit and nuts in the mix and then surrounded the waffle on the plate with fresh strawberries, blueberries and cream. It looked lusious!

I liked this waffle maker--it made good waffles and was easy to use. Felt sturdy. But it started to act strange after about 6 months of light use--the blue light wouldn't show "Ready" predictably. Then, just as I hit the 1 year mark and the product warranty expired, the unit totally failed. Plugging it in, the power light doesn't light and the unit is completely non-functional. It looks more durable than my unit, apparently, was.

Love it! Easy to use. Makes perfect waffles!

The old model had a beeper to indicate the waffle was done; this model does not. It is unfortunate that you eliminated the beeper.
