Quality and fit as expected--Great value for the price!
I'm giving these five stars based upon value & relative quality. I was looking for a set of inexpensive sweatpants to replace my "garage" pants that I wear when changing oil in our vehicles or working on other projects. I've purchased FOTL sweatpants and sweatshirts before, and these pants aligned with my expectations: soft fleece, no issues with the fit or stitching, and overall good fit and excellent comfort. These are great for household wear, essentially around-the-house pajama comfort in something that men are happy to wear. I would probably choose something more substantial for heavy athletic use, but for the money these were exactly what I was looking for at the price point that I wanted. It didn't hurt that I caught them on substantial sale, so it was an easy decision to make.

Perfect Fit for My 370 lb son. Soft, Durable, No Shrinking, Incredibly Comfortable!
I canโt speak highly enough about these Fruit of the Loom Eversoft Fleece Elastic Bottom Sweatpants. I purchased them for my 370 lb family member, who wears a 4X, and these are truly the only pants Iโve ever seen him feel completely comfortable in. They look great too and have pockets! Shopping for someone of his size has always been a challenge, especially finding pants that donโt dig in, feel soft, and hold up over time. His weight pools mostly around his waist and ankles, making it even harder to find something that fits without being tight or restrictive in those areas. But these sweatpants? Absolute perfection. The material is made from 60% cotton and 40% polyester fleece, which creates this super soft, cozy texture on the inside, while the outside has a smooth, durable finish. The Eversoft technology really delivers on comfortโno scratchy feeling, just a nice, breathable fabric that keeps him warm without overheating. One of the biggest selling points for us is that they do not dig into the waist or ankles at allโwhich, again, is so important for someone whose weight is concentrated in those areas. The waistband is wide, stretchy, and soft with a functional drawstring, so it adjusts without pinching or feeling tight. The elastic at the ankles has enough give to keep the pants in place without constricting, even with larger ankles. Thatโs rare to find in extended sizes where elastic bands can often be too tight and uncomfortable. Weโve washed these multiple times (always following the care instructionsโcold water, gentle cycle, and tumble dry low), and they have not shrunk or lost their shape. The fleece stays soft, the seams hold up, and thereโs no pilling or fading so far. Another bonus: no foul odor when they arrive (which Iโve experienced with other brands in the past). They come fresh and ready to wear right out of the bag. Iโve already ordered more pairs because these are the only pants my family member wants to wear while working on stabilizing his thyroid condition and managing his weight. They give him comfort, dignity, and confidence, which is priceless. If you have a larger family member, or youโre someone with similar sizing needs, do not hesitate to try these. They check every box: softness, fit, durability, easy care, and true comfort where it matters most. Thank you, Fruit of the Loom, for making inclusive, thoughtful clothing that truly accommodates real bodies. These sweatpants have made a real difference in my family memberโs daily comfort.

Material quality getting worse.
Our household has been buying Fruit of the Loom sweatpants for at least 15 years. So I ordered these this year. Yes, they're soft, comfortable and fit right, and good price. But after only 3 wearings, the material began to pill. I checked my older pairs, which have never pilled. The oldest are a 50-50 blend, the ones bought 2 years ago are 45 cotton, 55 polyester. The new ones are 40 cotton, 60 polyester. So I guess that's the difference. I don't expect them to last as long. Sorry, FOTL, you could have gotten a 5 star rating from me if you hadn't skimped on the material.

Ultimate Everyday Comfort: Softness That Lasts!
The Fruit of the Loom Eversoft Sweatpants are the "Goldilocks" of fleece pantsโnot too heavy, not too thin, and priced to be a "no-brainer" stock-up item. While some recent reviews suggest the fabric is slightly lighter than vintage versions, they remain a favorite for their superior softness and reliable relaxed fit.

Awesome sweatpants! Roomy and so comfortable!! Soft fabric, look great, and nice pockets. Not a fan of the white adjustable string but canโt beat the great price. ๐

No Regrets
Love this brand! They fit great. I usually struggle to find sweat the look okay with my larger thighs lol but these are great and comfy. There was some fuzz that stuck to my skin after first couple of wears but itโs fine now.

They shrank. A lot!
I bought 2 pairs of these to wear as lounge pants. I purchased them a size too large in case they shrank in the wash. Boy did they shrink. 1 pair will not fit me at all and the other is so snug it is near uncomfortable to wear. i washed and dried them as the instructions directed. they just didn't last. It's a shame because they were actually very comfortable.

feel and look good
i absolutely LOVE these pants. they sure did help keep my OLD self a bit warmer during these below zero months. i bought two pair - one great big for sleeping, and the other the right size for daily-wear, and surprisingly they didn't "shock" me all day and night like walmart "sweatpants" - which create so much static, they caused my afib to act up. these - however - haven't had me shooting fire out my fingertips, which is a very GOOD thing. i'm sure it's the way they're made, because truthfully, they're ALL made of PLASTIC (polyester IS PLASTIC) and i'm embarrassed for those who don't know it. plastics on our skin - plastics in the air - plastics in the water and foods - there's no getting away from it now, and is one major reason everyone's health is declining. no such things as "natural" fibers anymore - government says they can 'sneak' in a "certain-percentage" of plastic and STILL call it "cotton" - and do NOT have to list it on the label.
