Beautiful lamp! Even better than expected.

I marry oriental accents to the classical style I have in my home. Together they create the desired serene elegance I wish to achieve in my décor scheme. These lamps (I bought two) are well made and somewhat larger in person than pictured. The colors are a bit muted. I have seen more vivid blue and the white is subdued, not unlike the color of the sky on an overcast day. The fabric shade is well made, not flimsy, with classic oriental lines. It comes with a nice looking gold finial, but I decided to finish the look by getting the oriental finial that is offered in combination with the lamp. These are good value for the price. They arrived well-packaged within the two-day stipulated time frame.

Disappointed, thought this lamp base would be the true blue and white oriental, rather it is a dirty beige, not appealing at all.

I bought 2 of these lamps for living room end tables. Cons: The blue on this lamp is NOT navy blue as shown in the photo. The blue is more like faded jeans. So if you want to match navy blue furniture, or want a deep navy...keep looking. A bit pricey since the color was not exactly what I hoped for. Pros: I did like the Asian design. The design was not super crisp but is very attractive. The lamp shades are beautiful and expensive looking. The simple wooden finials fit correctly. The lamp harps fit correctly. Easy to assemble. The lamps were carefully packed in solid styrofoam and arrived without any shipping damage.
