This thing absolutely rocks!
This is right up there with Leatherman. Leatherman is overpriced, so this is a very good alternative to an unreasonably expensive tool. I Widdewy bought one for my dad and girlfriend. My favorite part of this tool is the fact that you can replace the jaws of the wire stripping feature. You can also replace the blade for a new one if you wear it down the old blade beyond sharpening. It has a very solid weight to it and is made well. It’s heavy, and feels like a nice pair of needle nose pliers in the hand, or more specifically, Milwaukee wire stripping pliers. My favorite feature is the jigsaw Blade cut out for the nail file/ diamond file. This can be easily replaced with the included jigsaw blades, making it very versatile when you want to swap saw blades.

Clonosaurus
A number of different companies are making these Leatherman clones. Bibury, Daicamping, SwissTech, Nextool. I previously got the Bibury Surge clone and gave it as a gift. I have the Rocktol 12 in 1 pocket multitool and love everything about it, so when it came time to get a Surge clone for myself, I went with Rocktol again. While the Bibury was definitely good for the price, its fit, finish and action was noticeably inferior to my Leatherman. This one on the other hand, is scary good. Because the Leatherman is a Leatherman, USA made, and 4x the price, I will assume it is still better, more durable perhaps, and with a better warranty. But initial impression I see no obvious difference in quality. Fit and finish is excellent, action is smooth, all the tools lock up perfectly. And the 1/4” bit driver is far superior to the Leatherman driver and its proprietary slim bits. The bits included with the Rocktol are retained with a ball detent, but I will be epoxying a magnet into the driver and using my Wiha double ended bits. With a magnet installed, my Leatherman ratchet driver and bit driver extender will plug in no problem. Or you could get hex end bit driver extenders and a hex end 711 ratchet for much cheaper than what Leatherman charges. One thing I would change, and this applies to all of these Chinese clones, is the sheath. It’s junk. There are large cutouts on the sides of the sheath that expose the tool to dust, dirt, moisture etc., and you won’t be able to put anything else in the main pocket without the risk of them falling out. The small elastic pocket on the front of the sheath that contains the bits does not seem very secure while at the same time making it awkward to take the bit card out, which is always snagging. There are no extra internal pockets. The side pockets are not elastic like on a Leatherman, but nylon, and one of them is stitched mostly closed so that it can only contain the Torx Allen key for disassembling your tool and a small ziplock baggie with your spare wire cutter blades. If you really want to replicate a Leatherman kit with bits, flashlight, ratchet, and t-shank accessories, you will not be able to do it with this sheath. Certainly not a deal breaker as there are plenty of affordable options out there, but since these Chinese companies have done such a good job of duplicating a Leatherman at 1/4 of the price, it seems it shouldn’t be too hard to provide a better sheath. I cannot guarantee that you will have the exact same experience as me. You may get a Bibury that is better than the one I got, or a Rocktol that is not quite as perfect as mine. At these prices the quality control may not be as exacting as that of a US company selling a $150 tool. But I am very impressed and also a little worried for Leatherman. These companies are beating them at their own game and responding more quickly to customer demand and feedback. When a tool isn’t working quite right, they fix it. They include bits, spare saw blades and wire cutters, all for 1/4 of the price. Bibury sells a spare parts and accessories kit that fits exactly with this Rocktol. I got it solely for the t-shank scalpel holder which I modded to fit my Surge, but Leatherman should already be offering accessories like this if they want to stay competitive. I recently snagged one of their ratchet drivers after waiting over a year for it to be back in stock and seeing it go on ebay for upwards of $250. That is unacceptable. Someday soon one of these Chinese companies might make their own ratchet driver and put it out there for $12-15, and always have it in stock. I’m all for buying American, but it is also a buyer’s market. If customers are made to fight tooth and nail for your products, they will go elsewhere as soon as they are able.

Perfect Multitool for very reasonable Price
Superb product! So far, I have absolutely no complaints regarding the ROCKTOL 29-in-1 Multitool's performance and build quality. Its wide array of tools, particularly the replaceable wire cutters and saw, feel robust and handle tasks with impressive efficiency, living up to the promise of a comprehensive multitool. However, it's definitely on the heavier side, especially when directly compared to my existing mini multitool, the NexTool 12-in-1 Mini Sailor Pliers. While the weight is a trade-off for its extensive features and durable construction, it's something to consider for those prioritizing ultra-light portability. For my uses, the added capability and strength far outweigh the extra heft.

Awesome Tool...
I've had a long history of buying multi tools and putting them through their paces. I've had expensive ones disappoint me and cheap ones surprise me. when I bought my first tool from this company, I was expecting a cheap knockoff so I aired on the side of caution and got the simpler version. it didn't have the all the replaceable parts. when it came I was wrong and was very impressed. so impressed that I bought this version... not once but twice. why? it did everything I asked of it and more.it became a mainstay of my job and was something I couldn't see myself without. Unfortunately, one day the tool slipped from my hand, fell onto my work mat (under which was concrete) and a bolt that hold the tools on it broke. I'd buy a replacement if I could since the tool served me so well. I could even use some adaptors for sockets to put bolts in. Very handy and worth every penny.

EXCELLENT DESIGN, UTILTY, AND QUALITY
My wife bought me a 9 tool Leatherman 30 years ago that cost over $100. This 29 tool is AWESOME and cost 60% less than my original. Design, utility, and quality - EXCELLENT. It uses normal found everywhere 1/4" bits instead of goofy specialty bits. Also, the file is removable so you actually sharpen the tools (knife, awl, scissors, etc) on the multi tool - WHAT A CONCEPT!

You can’t go wrong with this knife
I will buy this again in a flash. This is a great knife, good quality, steel easy to open solid build with no slop at all. An outstanding value considering the comparable Leatherman at twice the price.

Good Tool, CRAPPY sheath
The problem is the sheath that came with it. This was obviously designed by somebody that never actually wears the tool on their belt. The belt loop has a snap for ease of use - i.e. it comes unsnapped and the tool falls off your belt when bumped hard. The pocket for the saw blades isn't closed all the way to the bottom, so when the sheath is flexed - the extra blades fall out. Same with the cutter bit tool and spare wire cutter bits. The flap over the top of the tool is short so that it can leave room for the set of screwdriver bits - which means the bits stick out and hook on clothing, AND it's hard to get your finger under the end of the flap to unsnap it. That flap really needs to cover the bits.

Good tool
Good quality multitool. Comes with loads of extras. Only slight negative is the handles have a lot of flex and are miss aligned when closed. Good product over all though.
