When they arrived, I initially thought they were the wrong size, as it has 8 moulded into the sole. I then realised that is the American size, as the label confirmed size 7 UK. Phew. They are very well made: the soles are tough and a good thickness while still being flexible, and are as robust looking as you might expect on an actual shoe. Note: The video above was taken after eight months of use, not when they were brand new. The uppers are a nice, soft fabric, ridged slightly like corduroy. The inner sole is thinly layered with memory foam, feeling springy and comfy to the touch. The rear Velcro sections separate to allow the heel in, as do the uppers, allowing even quite swollen feet to slip in easily. My relative said they are very comfortable to wear, keep their feet warm, and feel secure when walking in them. One consideration is whether the person has difficulty bending down, as they may not be what you typically think of as slip-ons, so reaching the Velcro straps to open and close them might require some assistance. Also, someone with weak or arthritic fingers could find the straps fiddly. Really easy to put on as they have Velcro on the back and over the top so no need to squeeze toes in and they can be fastened as tight as required.
