Great beginning kit for small projects on soft wood. Probably wouldn't stay sharp after initial use, but we'll see, looking forward to using more. Rust attacked immediately! Smaller handles, good for detail depending upon your style

The good: the blades are razor sharp and hold an edge well. The handles are comfortable. The included 1st. projects are great for first timers. The bad: the gloves are too slippery for the knife handles. Go out and get an inexpensive pair of gloves with the rubber like palms and fingers All on all a great beginner carving set.

This is a great set for a beginner! Bought this for my teenager and he loves it. All of the tools and gloves fit inside a zippered case that’s about the size of a book. The tools seem well made. My son had never done this before and had a great time trying something new. Only downside is the gloves are a little thin, and he did have a small cut. Overall, great purchase!

Got this set for my son and he really likes them. They fit his hands nicely and he appreciates the gloves that are included. The blades are sharp and don't flex/bend when in use. Would recommend for any wood whittlers or carvers!!

My husband loved this for Christmas, the only con is the gloves aren’t good quality but my husband has Milwaukee work gloves that he uses instead and he loves his new hobby ! The tools are very sharp and there are are a lot of things you can create !

I wanted to try a new hobby, and this was a pretty good cost effective way to scratch that itch. After loads of tutorials I’ve learned that the wood provided is amazing but not perfect. Better wood cuts like butter but this is still good. You cannot use both gloves and hold a knife though, so I did slice my finger pretty good but that’s honestly on me. The gloves do break open pretty easy which is concerning, so after one project I had a few holes in the glove I used. Overall I like it it’s good for beginners the knives are sharp and sleek and the wood is pretty good, plus some nice templates.

Llego en perfectas condiciones! Las instrucciones que vienen no son las mejores, pero las herramientas y las maderas estan bastante bien para iniciar! Lo que si es que los guantes estan bastante apretados y mejor veria de comprar unos externos.
