is this good against rose slugs?

I believe that it is repellant to rose slugs; I have used it all year and have not seen any. We had them last year, not lots, but some. It does a good job on japanese beetles and black spot, as well. I think this is the best organic "safe" pesticide I've found for all my plants.

Since this has neem oil can it be applied in the summer? I have always heard neem oil in the heat can damage the leaves.

I have used it during the summer. Typcially at later hours of the day. Yes neem can damage the leafs in some cases of really hot direct sun light. My opinion is the spider mites or bugs will do more damage than sun damage.

How much does this concentrate make?

The container has sixteen ounces. It takes one ounce (or two tablespoons) mixed with each gallon of water. Therefore the container will make a total of sixteen one gallon containers. The product works well. Wayne C,

So would it be better to use your "drench" product for my roses. it seems the frequency of application is needed less often. since i have 32 plants.

I would not "drench" a plant with product. I spray the entire rose and leaves (top and bottom) every week to maintain. I have over 30 roses, but that is the task of the day then done.
