Nice touchscreen laptop for a decent price.

Fast. Easy to use. Good battery

Serves its purpose for the most part. Got this because I started school and the MacBook isnt so compatible with the software used in the program. So it works fine except storage is an issue. Had to get an external drive to carry all my files in so the "storage full" message would stop popping up on my screen. Smh

Touch screen is a very good and convenient function

I honestly love this computer so far. I had originally bought a cheaper off brand one (don’t make my mistake). I’m a student so the speed and performance of this computer is perfect for my classes. Super easy to setup and the keyboard just flows when you type. The touchscreen (I didn’t think I would use but I find myself using it and I love it) the only concern is the charging cable gets a bit hot but it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the computer. Splurge if you are looking to buy and get this one. Definitely worth the price. My cousin has had her older version of this for over 5years and it’s still functioning almost as fast as this new one.

I can only begin this review with serious misgivings about this particular Dell Inspirion laptop. When one purchases a product from a "Dell Vendor", one presumes it is a 100% Dell product. Apparently this was not the case with this laptop. Exactly 3 days after the Amazon/Vendor's return policy ran out, this laptop stopped working. The error message was "Corrupt Hard Drive". I can understand electronic devices will sometimes have issues. I can also understand manufacturers and vendors need to have a limit on how long they will allow items to be returned. So we called Dell Warranty Service, and they were very helpful. They sent a box, pre-paid shipping label and we thought that would be the end of it. Wait a reasonable time for the laptop to be repaired under warranty, and we could go on with our lives. NOT SO. According to the Dell Warranty Center, this particular laptop has a 3rd Party Hard Drive. Not a hard-drive provided by Dell or installed by Dell or used by Dell. So... our laptop was... in fact... not able to be repaired under warranty. Dell has offered to fix the laptop and install the correct, but the repair is nearly as much as the laptop cost new from Amazon. This is totally unacceptable! When we bought the laptop, we presumed it was a new Dell Laptop with appropriately sourced and installed electronics that would be approved by Dell (or installed by Dell)... BUYER BEWARE of ROKC Electronics. They have offered NO Help, NO Sympathy, and we are now completely out of the money we spent, and have a laptop that is absolutely Useless!!!! I can only imagine if we were still in the window for return, they would put the same Non-Dell parts back in, and we would be facing similar issues down the road. This is not the way to run a business. And certainly not the way an Amazon vendor should be doing business. Very Very Very Disappointed!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience on your platform. I received a faulty product, which includes the following issues: Touch screen not working Touchpad completely non-functional Frequent system hangs The condition raises serious doubts about whether this is a new product, as advertised. To make matters worse, despite returning the product or raising a complaint, my refund is still pending, effectively holding my money without justification. This feels like a scam — selling defective products and delaying rightful refunds. This is unacceptable from a platform of Amazon’s reputation. I request immediate action: Full refund without further delay An explanation of how such defective products are allowed to be shipped If this is not resolved quickly, I will be forced to escalate this issue further, including consumer forums, social media, and legal recourse if necessary. Tengan cuidado, porque la garantía de un año NO APLICA para México, dado que la computadora es mandada desde Canadá y Dell México NO SE HACE RESPONSABLE. La computadora se averió a los 7 meses de ser comprada, dejó de permitir cerrar la pantalla. Digamos que las bisagras dejaron de funcionar y a la semana siguiente se descompuso el mouse pad. Total, ya solo queda un cascarón porque nadie la quiere reparar por falta de piezas y la solución de Dell es que la mande con un pariente o alguien que viaje a Canada!

This is not a touch screen model. The hand symbol is for finger print reader and all other specifications holds true. Beware that touch screen models come with a 360° rotation and this only has finger print reader. If you're getting this for the specs other than touch screen, go for it. Do not buy thinking it is touch screen.
