The tumbler is beautiful and does all the things it needs to do. I got it because it’s glass and double walled so it won’t sweat. Went to use it this morning and the glass is cracked on the inside! So disappointing! No idea how it even happened. Updating my review to reflect the amazing customer service from this seller. They sent a replacement tumbler and so far, so good. I’m extra careful with it and very hopeful! But, again, the follow up from the seller to make it right and give them another chance was really great. They went above and beyond. A+ customer service.

EXCELLENT product! The glass is very thin, but the tumbler is designed well. I'm always amazed that I can pour such hot water in without it breaking. It hold the heat well, too. I don't use the dishwasher, but I find it easy to clean by hand. I don't use the dishwasher, I purchased a separate silicone tumbler sleeve with handle, reducing my concerns for the tumbler's delicate all glass construction. But it's the glass that I wanted, and ecoBrew delivers! I've had this and used daily for months. Great value for the money.

Lid has small chip on outside rim, causing leak down the side of cup. These cups are nice to drink from, but I should have known better. I've had several over the years and none have ever lasted very long. This one leaked from the beginning. Big waste of money. Since it's such a time consuming hassle to get this kind of thing resolved through Amazon customer support, I was very happy when ecoBrew reached out to me and offered a full refund.

The ecoBrew All Glass Tumbler is a good choice for an all glass insulated tumbler. The glass part is of course fragile, and fine. It's the plastic lid of the 16oz glass that seems if anything even more fragile than the glass tumbler itself. The plastic lid is too thin, and will break even more easily than the glass tumbler itself. The lid of the 16oz tumbler needs to be a tougher and thicker grade of plastic. Or else the 16oz model should have the same all-silicone lid that ecoBrew provides on its 12oz tumblers. The 12oz silicone lid has the added advantage that it cushions and protects the rim of the 12oz tumbler from bumps while in use. The thin hard plastic lid on the 16oz tumbler offers no protection at all when in use. The ecoBrew borosilicate glasses are fragile, and that is the nature of all thin-walled glassware. If they are dropped or struck against any hard surface, they will chip, crack, or shatter. In my experience ecoBrew glasses are no more and no less fragile than any other glass tumblers. They have to be handled with care. I have several ecoBrew glasses, and I find their advantages make them worth the careful handling they need. They are the only glass tumblers I have that are easily cleaned with no coffee or tea stains or residue. They can be heated / reheated in any microwave. They are top rack dishwasher safe, though they are best washed as you would wash any fine glass--by hand. If you need an insulated tumbler that is near bomb-proof and can take a beating, then glass is not the material for you. If you can be careful about handling, the ecoBrew All Glass Tumbler is very good. The lid on the 16oz model--not good. The lid needs to be at least as strong as the tumbler.

The glass tumbler works great for my hot coffee but there are some setbacks. The glass isn't that thick so the tumbler and lid are fragile. When I received the tumbler and removed the top foam packing, the lid was stuck to it. So the lid fell out and shattered. The tumbler and lid were not wrapped or taped together. Amazon did replace the tumbler and carefully unpacking it, the tumbler and lid were wrapped together. Seems like the first one I received was a return? The lid does fit snugly to the tumbler which creates a good seal (doesn't leak!) but this does make it difficult to remove. If you don't have a good grip on the lid when removing it, it can easily flip out of your hand and break where it lands. You also have to be careful when washing the lid and tumbler. They're slippery when using dish soap! The other setback is the silicone bottom cover. This protects the tumbler well when setting it down on any surface but this cover causes the tumbler to get stuck in both of my vehicle's cup holders. When I yank up the tumbler, the cover slips off. So now I use the tumbler sans the silicone bottom cover. I just try to be careful when I put my tumbler down so I don't crack the glass. Besides these setbacks, I do enjoy using my ecoBrew travel mug. Just wish it wasn't so fragile.

I've been raving about double-walled borosilicate glassware for years -- it does a great job with hot or cold drinks. While it won't keep them hot/cold for quite as long as an insulated steel container, it's still does a very good job, holding the temperature for at least an hour or two. In addition, there's no condensation on the outside. And glass is just plain better than plastic. I was having a hard time finding a double-walled tumbler that had a lid and was protected enough to take in the car, but the ecoBrew is great for at home or on-the-go use. The silicone sleeve and bottom "boot" give just enough protection from slight bumps. Now it's glass, so I wouldn't expect it to survive a hard fall, however. So don't be a klutz! The 16-ounce size works well for lattes made at home (as in the video) or the "grande" size from your local Green Goddess. At first, I was tempted to purchase a similar cup with an all-glass lid from another seller, but I decided the plastic lid on this one was more practical, since it had a better seal to prevent spills. Also, the opening is just big enough for a straw, so it's easier--and safer--to sip while driving. (My car yells at me to "Keep your eyes on the road" if I tip a cup up to drink while driving...) All in all, I'm a big fan of the ecoBrew tumbler and recommend it highly.

Hand wash only...remember its glass...its not a steel tumbler. do not put in dishwasher...even the top rack... iv had mine for about 6 months now and love it. will be adding more to my collection.

I gave this Coffee cup only two stars because it is not made with somewhat durable glass. I bought two of theses, one broke the first day I had it. I put it in the sink, it tipped over and broke instantly. A few weeks later, the exact same thing happened to the other one I bought. I understand glass is breakable, but these are very fragile. I have dropped my drinking glasses in the sink and on the counter, they never broke. If it weren't for this reason alone, I would have given it a 5 star review. They are nice looking glasses, I love the rubber gripper around the center of the glass as well as on the bottom. I purchased these so that we could heat up our coffee when we needed to, they worked perfect for that. These glasses are just too fragile.
