looks great for a cheaply produced product
looks great from a distance, had to insert screws to keep legs from collapsing ,one of the tightning bolts did not work.A cheaply made product

It was just "ok..." I returned it.

Good looking
Nice looking lamp, works for me. Looks like a much more expensive lamp and works well overall. Fast ship too.

Disappointing
Sadly, this lamp is disappointing. The quality is not anywhere near what I expected for such an expensive lamp. It looks and feels flimsy. The "shutters" are slightly less than functional. You can direct light on your book or handiwork or away from it but not in between. If you want less light on your subject, instead you have to have diverted light, which is not the same as less light. Unfortunately, I tossed the box and packing material, so didn't send it back, but have seen several interesting similar lamps for hundreds of dollars less that I think we'd have liked better all around.
