UPDATE!!! Unfortunately, it did not survive my 12 ga pump shotgun.
For an item bought just to mess around with, it has turned out to be better than most of my much higher costing counterparts. Great purchase for the money. This is now my second unit purchased. Outstanding product, price and function. UPDATE!!! While it worked great on small caliber weapons, placing it on the Keltec 12ga shotgun damaged it where it will no longer adjust for elevation. Windage moves, elevation will no longer function, but it was great up until that point.

Red Dot Magnifier - Game Changer for My Optics Setup
I recently added this red dot magnifier to my optics setup, and I am beyond impressed! This magnifier has significantly improved my accuracy and target acquisition, especially at longer distances. What I love: Crystal Clear Optics: The image through the magnifier is sharp and clear, even at higher magnifications. It does an excellent job of maintaining the quality of the red dot sight and enhancing the overall clarity of my target. Quick Adjustment: The flip-to-side mechanism is smooth and easy to operate. I can quickly transition from a non-magnified view to a magnified one with just a flip, and the adjustment is simple enough that I can do it without looking away from the target. Sturdy Build: The build quality is solid. The magnifier feels very durable, and I haven’t had any issues with it losing zero or becoming loose after several range sessions. Versatile: Whether I’m shooting at short or medium-range targets, this magnifier gives me the flexibility to quickly adapt to different situations. It pairs well with my red dot sight, providing better precision without the need for multiple optics. Easy to Mount: The mount is very secure, and I had no trouble installing it onto my rifle. The adjustments are simple, and it holds its position even after heavy use.

Monstrum Ghost...a nice red dot option for Katrina guns!
I was looking for a standardized, cheaper red dots for some Katina guns. I say standardized as I'm not a gun collector. Everything I use should be fungible in an emergency aka standardized. Gun fondling collectors will have everything different and love variety. But in an emergency, you want standardization when it comes to each class of weapon. I tried the low-end Sig Romeo for $82 and Monstrum Ghost for $70. The Sig just could not compare to the Monstrum Ghost red dot. Even if the Sig was $40 I would not like it. Really, I like Aimpoints and ACOGs...but they are not disposable, so they are not doable for Katrina guns. I was really impressed with the Monstrum sight. It came with an extra battery, the dust caps worked fine, the battery is a standard wafer CR2032, compared to the oddball Sig battery. I could not get the flimsy Sig dust caps to lock. The dealbreaker with the Sig was I could not get a usable red dot until near midway on the adjustment dial. The Monstrum gives me usable red dots right from the beginning. And there is no need for the high # adjustment with the Monstrum, they are way too bright. Also, the Monstrum has a claimed 50,000 hour battery life. Fit and finish is very good with the Monstrum, really, I'd say it is excellent. I bought a number of these red dot sights and am very happy with the Monstrum Ghost. BTW, if you don't know what a Katrina gun is, check out what happened to gun owners in Katrina. And they never got their guns back. Time will tell how the Monstum holds up. But it is inexpensive enough to stock a number of them as backups.

Not sure if I’ll be a repeat customer anymore
The light isn’t working correctly anymore. Contacted monstrum and sent it back to them and still waiting for an answer on a refund or replacement based on their lifetime warranty. Looks like I’m out the money. Had to buy another optic to replace theirs since I’m still waiting

Good and simple
I wanted a lightweight, easy to use red dot that has the shake awake feature. This one checked all the boxes. I’ve used several items from monstrum and had success this one is no different. Everything packaged well, came with a nice mount and battery. Everything you need.

Very nice red dot.
I found Monstrum scopes to be a great deal with quality glass and adjustability. Was looking cor a cheaper red dot so decided to try this one out. It was a good choice. Adjusts great. The brightness setting is hard to turn but hopefully it will wear in some.

It's a lot better than I expected
Before purchasing this optic I decided to look online for some reviews. I saw some reviews that stated that this optic was pretty good for the money. I read some of the Amazon reviews and I was a little apprehensive since I noticed that a lot of the people that had reviewed this optic had it sent for free so I expected most of the comments were biased or paid for. I ended up purchasing the optic and I do not regret it. I paid for this optic with my own money without any manufacturer discount. TLDR: for the money you really can't beat this optic (currently priced at $70). Compared to various optics even in the 200-400 range, this one feels in terms of quality just as good at a fraction of the price. I haven't beat this optic or anything but the construction is very premium and it is very bright. I was worried that the optic would shine back too much as other reviews stated, however, I was happily surprised to find that the optic only shines back at you in the last brightness option. Honestly, I think that the last brightness option should be reserved for a range day in the middle of the day in 120-degree sun.

Great Value, best sub $100 RDS I’ve used
I own multiple Primary Arms optics and this is 70-80% the quality imo, feels great, brightness dial a bit firm but I expect it’ll break in, the scope caps are superb easily as nice as a standard Butler Creek cap and fit is perfect, better than the rubber bikini Primary Arms provides, the dot does flare a bit at full brightness, I run it two clicks down from there and it’s nice and crisp, plenty bright for me even in daytime
