It wasn't hard to get my cockatiels to eat this food. This is not the only kind of pellet food I give them. I also give them the Kaytee pellets for the sake of variety and in case one is nutritionally better than the other. The Kaytee pellets smell nicer and are colourful. My birds go through phases where they like one brand more than the other but in general they like this one more. It smells interesting - not bad at all. To me it smells like kiddies toothpaste, but I've seen others describe it differently. What I like about this product compared to Kaytee is that it doesn't stain their droppings and it ends up being less messy - the others end up all over the place. My vacuum cleaner ends up full of Kaytee pellets

The person that I bought my Sun Conure swears by this food, and I see why now very little waste the bird loves it. I do also feed a fresh bird salad (mixed greens, peppers, carrots, peas corn, rice and such) but this is very balanced food.

A couple years ago, my parrotlet was having a lot of digestive issues and I had to take him to his vet more often than I would have liked. I had him on a seed and pellet diet during that time, along with fresh fruits and veggies. Nothing out of the ordinary. But he kept getting sick. I talked with my vet about it, and decided it was best to give him just mushy pellets for a while to let my parrotlet have something easier to digest. I was disappointed to see that most pellets I found in pet stores had tons of added food coloring, which was making my parrotlet regurgitate more than normal and turn his poops weird colors. So I went on a search for something without tons of added colors and unnatural ingredients and I found this Hari Tropican Lifetime formula. My parrotlet loved it! So I kept him on this pellet diet for a couple months, and I have been giving it to him ever since with no digestive issues or sickness since. I give him a mix of the Hari Tropican Formula along with Harrison’s High Potency fine bird food, and my parrotlet has been in great health with no abnormal trips to the vet. I will update if there are any changes, but I don’t see that coming anytime soon. I’m about to buy the third bag of this for my birds! Both my parrotlets love it.

This product was referred to me by a bird rescue because it is full of nutrition and has little to no waste. My birds love it! It smells like bubble gum when you open the package. How could they not love it?

Al principio a mi ninfa no le gustaba, es normal, les cuesta cambiar de alimentación si estan acostumbradas a otro tipo de alimento. En pocos días ya se la estaba comiendo, es muy completa y asi no tienes el miedo de que le falte cualquier nutriente ya que va todo en uno. Las bolitas son pequeñitas perfectas para ellas. No es caro para la cantidad que trae, dura mucho. Huele como a chicle, muy buen olor.

Ho un parrocchetto monaco che fin da subito ho abituato a mangiare esclusivamente estrusi (oltre a frutta e verdura ovviamente) questo marchio oltre ad essere conveniente, è veramente di qualità. Dopo tante ricerche e informazioni, posso dire di aver trovato i migliori estrusi al miglior prezzo. Li stra consiglio.

Ottimo estruso, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, super appetibile. Validissima alternativa ai semi anche per la sicurezza derivante dal processo di estrusione che esclude contaminazion da fertilizzanti e micotossine che i sementi non certificati presentano. Consigliatissimo

They have everything your parrot needs to be healthy, I just LOVE these pellets for them. All my birds are raised on Hagen product from the hand feeding formula to the pellets as they age. They are a staple in the birds diet, along with fresh fruits and veggies. I have long living healthy happy birds. Well Done!
