So far so good... Simple to configure (just a little slow to boot compared to some others I have set up recently), and good speed. Yet to install in their permanent positions so will see how they work longer term. UPDATE - installed and have great coverage, a real upgrade to the previous setup at this location and was dead simple to install. Will likely be buying more.

Great when flashed with OpenWrt. Getting 600mbps on WiFi 5ghz.

This is a great quality product, most suitable for a small business or a home user with good IT knowledge. It works well and is easy to set up, provided Nebula is installed on the phone or laptop and PC being used. A standalone option is available. Very pleased with the results. My network is now more responsive. It can be wall or ceiling-mounted. It has no supporting stand for shelf use. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for reliable results from their network. It's not a mesh system; it's an access point and requires hard wiring to the router or a nearby network switch. I have two and have disabled the wifi on my router as that is not required, and these offer superior quality. You can set them to operate on the same wifi channels, which for me gives the best results.

The UI on this is a little dated and has some dodgy translations but did the job well after that.

Easy to setup with all the functionality you're likely to need, especially as a home user.. Looks and feels well made. Much better coverage & signal strength than other more expensive devices. Good array of additional components including outdoor access points that can all be managed from a web console.

I wanted to use this with a Draytek Vigor 130 modem but 12 hours later I still couldn’t get it to work. I have no idea if it was me or the ASUS was faulty. It said it was working but I couldn’t connect to the internet. ASUS tells you to scan a QR code to download an app which walks you through the set up and there was a setting for NOWTV so things were looking hopeful. The Draytek was in bridge mode with all the correct settings. Not sure whether to try another one (exchange) or just give up.

I have 3 of these spread around the house, flashed with OpenWRT and in a B.A.T.M.A.N.-Adv mesh. They work extremely well and have great range. Flashing OpenWRT is a breeze.

Va muy bien tiene buen alcance y la configuración con la aplicación móvil es muy sencilla. De momento todo genial.

Eccellente Access-Point. E' orma in servizio da qualche settimana in una rete di 3 AccessPoint che copre una villetta in cemento armato. Gli access point sono connessi a un MultiGigabit Switch con porte a 2.5Gbps PoE motati a parete in prossimità del soffitto. La ricezione è ottima in tutta la casa e nel giardino si raggiungono velocità ragguardevole anche se per sfruttare i 2.5 gbps della connessione fibra è necessario usare più connessioni da molteplici Access-Points. La connessione è stabile a circa 7-800 mbps su un singolo client che usa uno stream a 1.2Gbps. L'access point permette di avere fino a 8 SSID su ciascuna radio frequenza (2.4 e 5 ghz), permette la configurazione di profili radio e di sicurezza nonchè la classificazione degli AP che rileva come rogue o friendly per MAC address. Su ciascun SSID si possono configurare MAC filters. Supporta ovviamente 802.1q VLAN tagging in modo da separare SSID e traffico su VLAN individuali. Il roaming tra different AP (con opportuna configurazione 802.11k/v) è assolutamente trasparente e senza packet drops (nelle telefonate in VoIP non ci si accorge di aver cambiato AP). E' necessario capirci un po' e accettare di spendere un po' di tempo nel configurarlo meglio collegarlo con ethernet cablata. Personalmente tutto in manuale (niente wizard che limita molto le opzioni e Nebula) e tutti gli AP wired per massime prestazioni e alimentazione PoE. Estremamente ben documentato sia per interfaccia WEB che CLI e supportato da uno user forum sul sito Zyxel. Firmware originale ver 7:10. Supporta Syslog logging e NTP per poter tracciare tutti gli eventi da un server Syslog e correlarli a problemi o accessi indesiderati. Assolutamente raccomandato.

Ich habe lange mit Fritzbox-Repeatern experimentiert, aber in meinem Haus (Keller, EG, OG) lief das einfach nicht rund. Das Mesh-System wollte nicht so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe – ständig Verbindungsabbrüche oder langsame Wechsel zwischen den Stationen. ​Jetzt habe ich drei Zyxel Multi-Gig WiFi 6 AX3000 Einheiten im Einsatz (eine pro Etage) und bin begeistert. Die Verbindung ist jetzt im ganzen Haus perfekt. Die Einrichtung der Zyxel-Geräte war unkompliziert und das Mesh-Handling funktioniert tadellos. Endlich keine Funklöcher mehr und volle Geschwindigkeit auf allen Ebenen. Wer Probleme mit herkömmlichen Repeatern hat, sollte hier definitiv umsteigen!

Installé depuis 10 jours en remplacement d’un Xiaomi Mesh AX3000. Le Zyxel est plus compact, les débits sont similaires (donc très bons) mais il est bien plus configurable que le Xiaomi. Il est utilisé en point d’accès en complément de la box internet passée en bridge parce que le WiFi était médiocre. Le Zyxel une fois placé au bon endroit, et surtout orienté comme il faut (je l’ai mis sur le côté d’un meuble pour orienter le signal vers la partie de la maison où il était le plus faible) a permis de considérablement augmenter les débits. À noter que l’installation est simple et rapide et qu’il est possible de créer plusieurs SSID et de les isoler les uns des autres, très pratique pour avoir un WiFi invité notamment. Donc très satisfait, pour le prix c’est top!
