This was a really fun to build, and the end result is great. Not too big, very pretty and serene.

One of my favorite sets! I love the Architecture series and this is one of my favorites because I've had a love of Himeji Castle for a long time. The instructions are clear and as always, very easy to follow. The booklet even has the awesome history of this castle included and explained as you build. The colors are as accurate as LEGO can get without making the piece count go way up. It is rather big for a LEGO set, but that is to be expected for the Architecture series. Kids could build this but it's definitely meant for adults. A very fun build.

This model was honestly a great time spent working with my hands and admiring the detail that went into it.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for someone who loves japan and their landmarks. It was built exactly as shown and is as big as it says. It comes with instructions to build it easily.

Absolutely beautiful example of Japanese architecture and I enjoyed every minute of the build process. Design was exquisite with so many small intricate details constantly grabbing your eye, I just stopped several times just to look at the progress I was making. Instructions were dead on and easy to read which pieces were needed; I did not back off a single brick placement through the entire process. So pleasing to the eye and I highly recommend this set to any Lego enthusiast.

Eu acho muito bonitos os Legos da linha Architecture, e gosto deles especialmente por 3 motivos: 1) É divertido de montar; 2) É uma decoração bonita pra casa depois que está montado; 3) É uma motivação pra viajar e ir conhecer o lugar na vida real (e bater uma foto pra colocar do lado do Lego). O castelo de Himeji é lindo, o Lego fica muito bonito como decoração, e a minha vontade de ir conhecer o Japão só cresceu depois de ter montado esse Lego. Infelizmente, ele reavivou minha vontade de montar Lego... Então eu já caí na armadilha e comprei mais um (também da linha Architecture) pra montar, agora que terminei ele.
