Saxhorn Computer Speakers Sound Bar for Computer/Desktop/Laptop PC, USB Powered, Black

Got this soundbar to replace 2 older type speakers with bulky power cord that pre-announced any incoming or outgoing text messages or calls with my cell phone on my desk. - ZERO static feedback - Fast and easy hookup via USB - Deep, rich sound - Cords recessed in middle back and plenty long enough (over 3 1/2 feet) to reach tower on floor and to the left - Volume button and audio/mic inputs in middle front for easy access - Mountable with 2 holes on back (or use Scotch Extreme Fasteners 10 pound which is what I did) Including 3 pics so you can get a good idea of how it looks. It fit very nicely on my desk, sitting on my monitor bases, but I just preferred it up and out of the way. The light around the volume button is pretty bright, so I did cover it up since it was right in my line of sight and a bit distracting. Extremely happy with this soundbar and am glad I went with this one over a couple of cheaper models. Although I'm using it for my computer, the sound is so rich that I could easily see using this with my TV in my bedroom, though it probably wouldn't be enough for a bigger, open space like a living room.

I have this on my work-from-home computer in front of a large monitor. Works great. I had two speakers spread out before this and the sound is very in front of you, but sounds great. What I mean by that is, I have three monitors with this in front of the center monitor. Before this, I had two speakers spread further apart and the sound was around me instead of in front of me. I wouldn't call it a negative, but it took me some time to get used to it. using it on a mac isn't all that out of the box. My Mac as a single mic/speaker connector. This speaker has two connectors. I need to get an adapter so I can utilize the front plugs on the speaker. Again, not a big deal, but something to consider.

I am impressed with the sound. It's crisp and clear. I stream movies and other videos quite a bit. The other speakers, ear buds, and headsets I've tried delivered sounds that were "fuzzy", especially subdued, or near-whispered dialog. Not these. Another feature I really like is the headset ports on the front of the unit. If I want to not disturb or annoy the rest of the household, I just plug in the headset. On the other hand, if you like rolling thunder bass, this is not the set for you. You need to look for a set with a woofer. The slim design allows this unit to nest neatly beneath my 23" monitor; no extra consumption of valuable desk space. NOTE to the manufacturer: Provide a control knob with a rougher surface. This slick one is difficult to use, especially if your fingers are dry.

Sounds pretty good. Volume range a little low.

When I first got it in May it was wonderful. Great sound, zero issues. About a month or two in it developed a static at mid+ volume. Now about 5 months later the sound randomly cuts out or cuts to a low volume. If it cuts to a low volume and you turn it up to hear it, when it randomly cuts back to normal volume you get a loud surprise. Given all the 5 star reviews on here I will say it's entirely possible I just got a broken one, but I'm outside the return/replacement window so I'm going to have to order something else. I really wish this worked though because it looks nice, had great sound, and was perfect for my dual monitor set-up.

These PC speakers worked "okay" for two years. Then, overnight they went from okay to lots of static. Checked all the connections- seems to be the speakers. Also, during the two "okay" years, I found that even the highest volume wasn't all that loud.

I had to play around with my pc settings to get sound to come out. But, once I got it working it's crystal clear. Just be realistic in your expectations. It's not going to replace a 2.1 sound system. If you want deep bass, keep looking. If you want very clean sound with reasonable lows and a lot more room on your small desk, this is for you. I ended up resting it on a monitor stand behind my screen. My only complaint is it doesn’t come with a seperate light switch. I am not exagerating when i say it’s flashlight bright. So, if this is going in a bedroom, i suggest you cover it up.

Sound quality is great for the price point. It is bigger than i expected, but visually looks good. Very easy to setup. The only con is that the power indicator light is way too bright. I drape a dark cloth over it.
