Checking on the internet suggest Thumbs Up is/was another UK brand, although I haven't been able to find these exact boxes for sale elsewhere. I can't tell if these are inferior or better in any way to Wham boxes (if they are not Wham boxes!), or if I have overpaid for them! They seem to be of reasonable quality, so I shall use them and hope that this first impression is borne out by longer term experience! Fingers crossed.... Edit - some time has now passed since the original review, and I have come to the conclusion that the boxes we received were not the Wham brand. But quite strong . Can carry my drill / Circular saw / Jig saw **Q: Can you use these boxes in the freezer** A: No they're not for storing books, toys, clothes, etc in great value for money **Q: Will the boxes stack without the need of the lids?** A: Yes the boxes stack without their lids fitted. However the lands on the lower box are not large and the upper boxe can move about a bit. They're a good, versatile size and keep everything tidy and clean when the lid is on. They don't last forever but are strong enough for home use in the garage.
