Not quite as sturdy as I expected, but not enough for me to drop points, just consider where you place this device.I combined this with a Orico 512gb drive and hooked it up to my RPI. Once the drive was formatted it took very little effort to get it and the RPI working together. Overall the device with drive worked as intended, I had no issue with speed, however I was only passing light data as I used this for storing small Postgresql database tables. Again due to the light load I noted no issues with device heat, and the PSU remained cool to the touch. I may revisit this review if I attempt to hook the dock and drive to a PC with a larger load.Overall good quality and works as intended with no hiccups.

Works as expected. I use it primarily with my Linux PC and my Proxmox server. Very good speeds when connected to the fastest USB-C ports. Accepts 3.5 and 2.5 inch drives.

I’ve been using this with a 2TB drive as a storage device for over a year now, and it’s been working flawlessly. The data transfer speed mostly depends on your computer’s capabilities, not the device itself. The only downside is the annoying sound it makes every time it powers on or off—but aside from that, no complaints at all.The USB cable that comes with it is excellent—it includes both standard and USB-C connectors, which is really convenient. The build quality is solid, and the price is very fair for what you get. One of the best parts is that it works right out of the box with no software required. Just plug and play!

Love this! It was perfect to clone a hard drive I had. It look about 20 minutes and is perfect to travel with. I brought this to an Army training exercise and was so glad I did!

I had no issues, didn't have to download any apps to get it to work. Plug n Play. I wish i had ordered one that handled both IDE and SATA.

TOOK ABOUT 5 MINUTES TO UNPACK, READ DIRECTIONS, PLUG IN, HOOK UP TO COMPUTER, DROP DRIVE IN, AND FORMAT DRIVE. SO SIMPLE ANYONE COULD DO IT, EVEN A 54 YR OLD WITH TECHNOLOGICAL INCOMPATIBILITY TO MODERN ELECTRONICS.
