Works great for transferring 1080p video
Bought in order to use as an extension cable for a dash cam setup I installed. The dash cam used was a VanTrue 1080p 3-channel model. This USB-c extension cable was compatible with 1080p video resolution no problem. Out of the box, build quality felt solid. I routed this cable underneath the truck so it will be exposed to the elements. Just based on feel, I would say the abrasion resistance is good. Will update if any problems come up. So far, easy to install and both female and male connections felt solid.

No go for PS5 controller
Wanted to use this to extend my cord from PC to my PS5 controller in another room. Doesn’t work but I don’t wanna give it a negative review just because it’s of no use to me lol.

Works, but only in one direction
As other reviewers stated, I bought this realizing it directly violates the USB-C standard. Because no USB-C cords are supposed to be designed this way (ALL are supposed to be male-to-male) I went in knowing that this may limit functionality. I am using this to charge and connect to ethernet a 2019 MacBook i9 over a 15' extension. It works extremely well, however, it has the limitation of making ALL downstream USB-C ports unidirectional, meaning even though the cord is reversible, the peripherals only work properly when you get the direction matching the way you plugged the male end into the PC. If you buy this and have trouble connecting stuff to it, just flip the connected item over, and watch it pop up in full glory. If you use it with a hub which has USB-C on it and the peripherals don't work when connected to the hub (but the hub works,) flip the thing connected to the hub. This goes for power as well. If you use it between devices, you'll have to remember which way the device likes it plugged in as well, because if you reverse it at the device, you'll need to reverse all your peripherals. Update: I still love this guy. I'm coming back to add that this supports full gigabit ethernet speeds at a 15' extension. While it does increase charging time on my laptop, it's plugged in all the time, so that doesn't bother me. Look up DC Line loss. The longer your DC power cable, the less power you get at the end, especially in lower voltages. If you're charging a phone with a 20' extention AND the original 3'-6' USBC that came with the device, there's absolutely no way 5V is making it to the other end. If you're using a laptop, the laptop can accept 20V, so it reduces the effect of DC line loss. As a summary: Any extension up to 6' probably won't make much of a difference. If you plan to use lengths like 10-20', you should plan carefully. Consider the voltage your device will use, as DC line loss is dramatically increased with low voltages. Don't try to charge a phone or anything else at 5V with a 20' USB-C cable. The solution is to bring the charger closer to you with a household extension cord.

Works as intended
Feels like a quality cable. Used it to run from an entertainment center pc to a nearby desk for all of the accessories needed in that location with a hub. Plug feels nice and is not loose like some USB C cables so I don't worry that it'll unplug if its jostled around. I have moved it around quite a bit with no issues so far. I have also run external SSD's through a hub with this cable and they retain full speed. If you need an long-ish USB C extension, this is a good buy.

Works great!
This was definitely worth the money as it does a great job of what it's described to do! It's definitely a high speed and quality cable. I would definitely recommend it!

Works to extend power
I’m only using it to extend power and it works. The cable is sturdy and seems well made.
