It's hard not to give this case 5 Stars. If you've ever tried to cut out the semi-closed cell foam in these type cases you will understand the bliss of having one pre-cut. The foam on this particular Kingcase brand products is more dense then the foam in my other cases, (this is my 2nd Kingcase purchase). The density of the foam is not of much concern but I mention it in case it is to you. My full size 9mm fit perfectly inside the case with 2 additional mags and extra cartridges. Extra cutouts to allow your fingers to get under your gun are part of this cases well designed style and ergonomics. Add that the price is arguably about as good as it gets and you'll find that the Kingcase brand is giving other cases of similar style and equally good quality, a run for the money. With this being my second Kingcase they've definitely earned my confidence and satisfaction.

I have bought two of these hard cases now, and I am very pleased with the quality of the build and the solid construction of the case. They appear to be waterproof and I haven't tested it out per se, but I do believe the claims in the product description mainly because of the construction of the box.

Purchased for airline travel and had no problems with TSA or United Airlines in checked luggage. Domestic flight with connections. The pre-cut design worked flawlessly to secure my firearm and magazines. This model has the option to punch out individual ammunition storage holes however if you are using this for air travel on a commercial carrier I don’t think that is permitted. I pulled that precut section out and inserted a small box of ammunition (box the ammunition was purchased in) instead. Punched sections well conformed to my firearm. (check list) and seem easy to reinstall so hold on to them. Also the entire foam insert fits securely however I was able to remove It as it was not glued in place. This may be useful for adding an Apple AirTag discretely hidden for theft recovery. Keep in mind that the Air Tag is powered by a lithium ion battery so it’s not permitted in checked bags which is where your gun case would be. Only flaws in design that I have noticed thus far are as follows: Case developed a suction during pressurization of aircraft which prevented case from being opened at destination without utilizing a fine blade knife at seem/seal to pry thus releasing suction. I do not recommend this approach (knives are sharp and fingers bleed just saying) but it’s what I had at the time and I avoided injury. I plan to drill a hole (fine bit) in an inconspicuous spot to allow pressure equalization during flight. This will render the box no longer waterproof but then I don’t need it to be and it will be a pin hole so who knows. Secondly the side case holes for additional locks one at each end are too small and set too close to the side of the frame to allow use of locks the case is pictured with. I tried two distinctively different designs. Neither of which were compatible. However it has a built in TSA compliant lock front and center so do you really need another? In my opinion this case is worth the money even with the noted design flaws and i would buy it again. It does what i need it to do.

Great fit for my hand gun and clips. The foam cut out insert is sized for the gun. The case padding is firm and protects the contents well. The case has an option to add a lock.

I bought this case for a Glock48. The firearm fits perfectly. I like that it has extra room for a trigger guard mounted light. It comes so it has 3 extra magazine storage spots, however I'm not sure if you can have the light attached and still store 3 extra Mags, or just 2. When it arrived, the inner red foam inserts were missing some of the round plugs for ammo storage. I'm not upset as I was going to use those spots to store ammo, however if you weren't that might be annoying. The foam inserts also didn't come out uniformly. The small round ones took some manipulation to get out. For the pistol, unless you wanted to remove all of the cut outs, you had to work with it, and the parts that you wanted to keep in place no longer wanted to stay where they were supposed to. The latches are easy to open, almost too easy. I have some concerns about how well the gasket/case seals. with the easy to open latches I'm not so sure how water/air tight the case is. Overall it's a nice case. If you're looking for something on a budget that will hold your Glock for transportation, this case will get the job done.

Very nice case for the money. The built in lock is very convenient and operates well. The case feels pretty rugged and provides good protection. It fits most of my hand guns with the precut foam. Some don't fit perfect but I am able to squeeze them in there. I have been able to store a VP9, G19, P365XL, P226 in the case, just to give you an idea of how well it can accommodate different size pistols. I did have to make some alterations to accommodate an optic but that was all, and it was easy to modify.
