One brick worked perfectly the other would not soak any water up and had to be broken up by hand just to be able to use. That’s the only reason for 4 stars otherwise a great product

Really good but takes a while to dry
My hamster loves this she spends ages digging and rolling in it and it's perfect if you want more textures in the cage as its super soft. The only problem is it's extremely difficult to break up when dry and when you soak it in the water it takes days to dry afterwards. Apart from thay, definitely buy if you're thinking about it it's 100% worth the money your hamster will love it !

Follow the instructions provided. USE HOT WATER INSTEAD OF ROOM TEMP OR COLD.
So I read a lot of the reviews, and I just want to say. Yes it took a while to absorb the water...but if you use hot water and the amount it says to (3liters) and actually wait the 30+ minutes...it does expand and it's pretty decent quality. Holds humidity EXTREMELY well. So if you re using it for something that requires good humidity this is your go to for sure.
