I purchased this after returning home from a major surgery where bending is not much of an option to start with. Neither is pulling on a sock. This made the task easy and pain free for me. Does exactly what it should. With my shoe size being a 12 and my feet Being wide. The 4.6” wide option was the perfect one for me. I definitely like how it let me adapt to my reduced mobility.

Works well, works as directed, when you get injured or get medical issues even RA, this makes it easier to put your socks , stocking etc on.

I recently shattered my ankle while on vacation and was in a cast for four months. I’m now in a walking cast, but had a lot of difficulty putting socks on the injured foot. Thank goodness I found this product because now I don’t have to wait for someone to come over and help me put a sock on. It has been a real lifesaver and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone with mobility issues that have difficulty putting socks on. I just wish it would also work for those soft casts that unfortunately are so narrow they won’t fit through the cup.

I wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars. One of the knots that holds the ropes to the plastic shell came undone before I had a chance to put the sock over the shell, and the other one came undone as I was examining it. What I found out was that each of the four stopper knots at the ends of the ropes was finished with a loop. The knots at the handle ends were pulled tight so they didn't come undone so easily. I've attached a photo, not of the original knot, but showing how the original knot was tied. It's possible that these knots were tied by a new hire who had not yet been properly trained, and the sock aid you buy could have properly tied knots. Anyway, I retied the knots that had come undone, and to be safe I pulled out the end of the loop on the others. The sock aid now works very well for my compression stockings.

Nice to find something wide enough for my wide feet. Unfortunately, it's so stiff, I can barely get socks slipped on. I love the grip insert on the back, but end up rolling up the sock up to the top before donning, so not too effective. Finally, the corners at the top are very sharp, so bite into the socks as I push my feet in. I've tried to saw the corners, but haven't figured out how to smooth the cuts.

Bought for my father who is waiting for a knee replacement, and he's very pleased with it. For context for any tall gentlemen out there, he's 6ft 4" and a UK size 13 shoe, so I was concerned whether it would be big enough for his feet. Thankfully he finds it easy to use and works very successfully. For anyone who has arthritis pain and joint stiffness, he says it's a lightweight design and a perfect aid. It's slightly small if you have wide feet, but it's sturdy and though it requires perhaps a little more effort than for those with smaller feet, there's still very little effort involved. He can't imagine anyone having difficulty using it, it's such a simple design.

Pour moi cette adaptateur pour enfiler les bas(chaussettes)est vraiment formidable !! Je n'avais plus la possibilité de mettre mes chaussettes cause problèmes de hanches , j'avais toujours besoin que l'on m'aide. Mais mai maintenant aucune difficulté a les enfiler... Pour moi très heureux merci
