This is an expensive, but amazing piece of kit. I bought this to use in our motorhome as i will sometimes work on the road and need a reliable connection. I'm using it in Ireland with an Eir 5G sim card and I'm getting over 100mbs download and around 25mbs upload. Very pleased with it

Doesn’t work, switches it’s self off and on. Poor built quality not worth the price tag. Good connectivity.

Excellent hotspot device.

On 5G: ~200 kbps upload and ~20 Mbps download (on a good day). For comparison my €200 smartphone on the same network and SIM consistently reaches ~40 Mbps upload and ~300 Mbps download. On 4G: The Netgear manages only about half the speed of my phone and is even slower than my 10-year-old Huawei 4G MiFi. Given that I paid nearly 5 times more for the Netgear, this performance is unacceptable. I figured out eventually that support from Netgear requires registering the device first, otherwise you are pushed to pay for premium support.

Great range and works well. Keep it mostly in the boot of the car for WiFi on the go for my laptop and iPad. Easier than tethering to my phone.

Out of the box and running in 5 minutes. All smart devices are connected to 2.4Ghz and phone, laptop & TV on 5Ghz. Never known speed like it. It was a big outlay but have tried a variety of solutions with aerials for a mobile solution (boat) without success but this delivers. Very happy with the result so far.

Won't buy any product from Netgear again, they put a Kill Switch in the update for roaming, it's great for using the hotspot in the UK, but now can't Roam in Europe, trying to force people to update to newer model, That's what killed it for me on Apple products, now this. P.S. this was supposed to be review for the Netgear Nighthawk M1, they won't let you, question is are they going to do the same thing with this product?

Absolute piece of junk and not fit for purpose. Constantly shuts down due to overheating, despite being used outside and in a well ventilated area (beside a football field), with only one device connected. DO NOT BUY..!!

Ich habe den NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 trotz des hohen Preises angeschafft und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Die technische Ausstattung ist hervorragend: 5G‑Mobilfunkstandard, WiFi 6 und insgesamt eine sehr zukunftssichere Lösung. Im Wohnmobil nutze ich ihn als zentralen Router, und die Performance ist wirklich top – stabile Verbindung, gute Reichweite und hohe Geschwindigkeiten. Besonders praktisch ist die Möglichkeit, eine externe Antenne anzuschließen. Damit lässt sich der Empfang in mobilfunkschwachen Gebieten deutlich verbessern, was unterwegs ein echter Vorteil ist. Einziger echter Schwachpunkt sind die empfindlichen TS‑9‑Anschlüsse. Sie verbiegen oder weiten sich schnell, vor allem weil die Kabel externer Antennen oft recht steif sind. Ich nutze daher eine Halterung mit TS‑9‑auf‑SMA‑Adapter von FTS Henning, um die Buchsen zu entlasten – damit funktioniert alles zuverlässig. Trotz des Preises ein sehr leistungsfähiger und empfehlenswerter Router für unterwegs.

Ich habe das Gerät für meinen Camper gekauft. Ich arbeite mobil und bin auf eine verlässliche Internetverbindung angewiesen. Des weiteren wollte ich die WLAN Geräte in meinem Fahrzeug darüber laufen lassen und benötige einen LAN Anschluss um einen Rasberry im Netz laufen zu lassen. In der Spezifikation ließt sich das Gerät super, allerdings bin ich nach nur 2 Tagen in der Praxis schwer enttäuscht. - Der SMS Speicher des Geräts kann nur 4 SMS aufnehmen dann kommt eine Speicher voll Meldung - Das Gerät läd im Zusammenspiel mit meiner Powerstation nur jedes 2-3 Mal. Wenn es nicht läd, muss ich einen Neustart durchführen (Kein anderes Gerät hat Probleme mit der Powerstation) - Darüber hinaus ist das Laden des Geräts extrem langsam - Der Stromverbrauch ist extrem hoch - Das Booten des Geräts dauert gefühlt ewig (was nicht schlimm wäre wenn es stabil laufen würde) - Während einer Webex hat es wegen Überhitzung die Internetverbindung gekappt. (Außentemparatur 22 Grad, außer dem Laptop habe ich noch keinen weiteres Gerät angeschlossen und außer Webex und Citrix keine weitere Internetnutzung) Das Gerät wird auf Youtube als Lösung für kleine Büros beworben, ich kann mir beim besten Willen nicht vorstellen wie das funktionieren soll. Bei einem Preis von 800 Euro hätte ich mir signifikant mehr erwartet!!! Leider habe ich das Gerät erst richtig testen können nachdem die Rückgabefrist verstrichen war, sonst wäre es sofort zurück gegangen. Absoluter Fehlkauf!

Glitchy firmware. May restart by itself of even shut down. May go on 5G mode and provide zero traffic. May keep searching for tge network where network is existing (mobile phone pick strong signal for the same operator.) Regretted the purchase
