This is not Tuna. It does not Taste like Tuna and the Texture is not like Tuna. So if You are thinking "Mayo and Pickles", then You are mistaken. This Thai Version does not require any Mayo, it seems to have something already in the Can that is much like a Sweet Sauce, which Mayo really does not Mix well with. However, I found that Mixing some Pineapple, either Cut up Pineapple or even some Crushed Pineapple, makes for a Pretty Good Cold Wrap. This will make One Medium/Large Type Wrap or Two if Using the Taco Size Wraps, Fajitas Wraps. Don't go adding Pickles to this, the Taste would not Mix Well. Perhaps, some Sweet Pickles? Again, would not Recommend. However, adding some Cut Up Apples, Pineapples or even perhaps some Citrus Fruit, makes for a Nice Wrap. This is some kind of Barbaque Type Sauce, which is added to this, along with the Chilies.. Kind of Sweet, but not really, though it does effect the same Taste Glands of the Tongue, which an Apple, Pineapple, etc.. accents well.. As these are Acidic and Help with the Textured Taste of the Sauce.

This tuno is pretty good. It mixes up like tuna but doesn't have any fishy taste to it. In fact it pretty much tastes like nothing. I've used it in tuna helper and made tuno salad with it and both were very good. It's a little chewy.

I have been a vegetarian for 30 years and am always seeking out seafood and meat "substitutes." I purchased this tuna various times over the years and it has generally been okay with me as I am primarily seeking protein. Recently, they must have changed the recipe, and I am happy to say that it is now the best plant-based tuna I have ever purchased. This is a product for those who does not want to eat flesh food. Understand that it may not taste "exactly" like tuna, but the texture is good, and it is a good protein source. Drain all of the water out before using and it works well. If you keep producing this product, I will keep buying it!

I had not purchased these in a year or so, and these are the changes I noticed: - spicier taste (a little hot now) - more fishlike texture (but still not flaky like real tuna) - includes one chili pepper per can (which I considered decorative and didn't eat) I'm not a picky eater, and while real tuna is better, I find this to be sufficient for lunch at work (with crackers and/or fruit, etc). And no fish were harmed!

It tastes nothing like tuna. In fact the protein itself has no taste. It is a bit rubbery. The only taste is the "thai sweet chili" seasoning but even this seasoning is not very good. In general I like Loma Linda vegan products but this was very disappointing.
