After my OEM charger that purchased from Sonos died after two years of light use, I decided to take a chance on a product made by a third party. I’ve been using this Wireless Charger for my Sonos Roam for a week now, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The magnetic charging base is incredibly convenient—it ensures a secure connection every time, so I never have to fiddle with aligning the device. I simply place my speaker on the dock, and it starts charging immediately. The design is sleek and minimal, complementing the aesthetics of the Sonos Roam beautifully. Its black finish blends seamlessly with the speaker, and it doesn’t take up much space on my desk or countertop. It’s also lightweight enough to be portable, making it a great addition when I travel with my Roam. Charging performance is top-notch. JUNK! Failed to charge after several months! Too late to return it. Revised review: I am revising my negative review for the wireless charger. The seller responded to my negative review and suggested that I switch power sources, which I tried. So far this has worked (but that doesn't explain why the first power source failed after several months use). Whether or not this change continues to work I am very impressed by the sellers response and follow-up, especially because the wireless charger is no longer returnable.

UPDATE: I finally was able to contact the company and they immediatley sent a new charger which works. I never would have posted the original one star review if it was easier to contact them. New one works great. OLD REVIEW: Stopped working after 3 months. I tried to contact to the company for warranty info but it was impossible. Don't buy this product.

I tried a regular QI wireless charger for my Roam 2 and it didn’t work, so I got this and it’s perfect! It has the perfect amount of “magnet” so you only need to use one hand to attach it or remove it. It easily attaches to the speaker and, to detach it, just touch the power connection and it releases. It charges it without any issues and the blue light on it lets you know it is connected.

This stopped working after 2 months and wasn't able to charge the Sonos Roam anymore. Really useless. I went back to having to plug it directly to a USB-C cord because it wouldn't connect.

For a fraction of the price, this magnetic, replacement Roam Charger fits mighty nice! I unboxed it, plugged the USB end into a charging cube (not included) and my ROAM connected to it instantly, and began charging. The base has an indicator light that’s blue whilst charging, which is cool. Fully functional, and an exceptional value for a replacement charger!

It might charge slow, but it sure beats a dead Roam every time I want to use it! As long as it’s always placed on the charger when not in use, it’s something I wished I purchased years ago.

Habe mir zwei der Ladestationen für meine Sonos Roam SL bestellt. Der Sitz der Platten ist einwandfrei. Durch den Magneten können die Boxen nicht nur in der stehende Position, sondern auch in der liegenden aufgeladen werden. Sehr praktisch. Die Platten haben ein angenehmes Eigengewicht, sind gut verarbeitet und verfügen über einen USB-C Anschluss. Hierdurch können gegebenenfalls auch Kabel in anderen Längen angebracht oder ein defektes Kabel ausgetauscht werden. Ebenfalls praktisch. Da ich die Ladegeräte via USB an meinen PC angeschlossen habe, fehlen mir die Stecker nicht. Sind für den Preis auch nicht wirklich zu erwarten. So kann ich auch Urteil über die mögliche Ladegeschwindigkeit abgeben. Fazit: Solide Alternative zu den fast doppelt so teuren Original-Lader von Sonos, bei welchen zudem die Kabel an die Platte gebunden und ebenfalls keine Stecker dabei sind.
