Bought as a gift for a friend. Very nice watch, fit and finish are excellent especially for the price point. Strap could be nicer leather, but again, a complete automatic watch for under $30, this thing is really nice. I have many higher end automatic watches, and admittedly the movement in this is nothing special, but it works well and looks reasonably well built. Great starter watch for someone interested in an automatic, or a very nice gift that won’t break the bank.

This watch has definitely exceeded my expectations! I enjoy mechanical watches, even though they are generally not quite as accurate as quartz watches. I enjoy knowing that I have a little machine on my wrist, made of tiny parts, using 18th and 19th century technology. I had low expectations for this $20 mechanical watch, but I've been very pleasantly surprised. The case is quite a bit thicker than a nice automatic Swiss watch of the 1970s or 1980s, but it's consistent with modern styles. The watch face is attractive, and the stainless case is nicely polished. There's even a small display window in the back of the watch. The mechanical movement itself is mostly unfinished--but it's keeping great time. I mean, it's keeping time to within 15 seconds/day, if not better. The watch movement is brand new, but I had expected much worse than that. Bottom line: If you find this watch attractive, I think it's an excellent value.

It’s a nice watch and the actual time keeping mechanism worked perfectly fine. just after switching the time once, the night that I got it, the dial that changes the time broke and doesn’t change the time. Also, it doesn’t feel like the band is real leather.

This watch has a dual feature, which is auto winded or hand, winded an automatic or auto wind will only give you about eight hours of runtime were as hand wine unit will give you 2 1/2 days of runtime once you exceeded the pressure on the spring of eight hours by hand winding the auto wind feature stops, working until under eight hours of runtime once the spring tension exceeds eight hours it also stops the first click to set your date when you first receive the watch it comes fully wound, and you must let it run down in order for the date to be set by the first click on the dial once the spring tension is over eight hours or in manual wind mode you must run the dial around in 24 hour period to set the date. Do not like the very small window that the date shows through do not like this at all it looks mismatched with the face I know it’s a cheap watch , really not too bad for the money if you understand how to use it and change the band

I got tired of inexpensive quartz watches that run out of battery too soon. This watch is definitely old school. Self-winding, retro looking, and nice display back. Occasionally I have to adjust the time by a minute, but that’s no problem.

This was a great starting watch if you are getting into automatic watches.
