Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper 420 mm Radiator

This is a very well made piece of kit and the chambers, fins and and water containing parts are all made from copper. I'm not sure but i think the frame is made from steel which is obviously a more suitable material for the frame as it's much stronger. The only problem is after examining the chambers and fins, i found that the chambers are not as wide as the thickness of the radiator, they are actually 2 separate chambers side by side with a few mm gap in between. Also then fins have tiny spaced cut outs all the way through them. I think this is the reason they seem to significantly restrict the airflow through the radiator. This is also irritating because given that the chambers are actually rows of two separate chambers not one big one, it might reduce the copper surface area the water comes into contact with. One thing is for sure though, the airflow does seem fairly restricted to me. The problem is i haven't seen an other radiators up close so I don't know if this is a deliberate design or if it's to keep manufacturing costs down. It does do it's job very well though. It manages to keep my amd fx9590 cool even on a stress test which is no mean feat. And as i say it does look well made. I just think it could be improved so I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars. Oh and also, mine only came with 8x30 mm screws so if you want fans on both sides you'll need to buy another 8 screws. All in all, with the price considered and the fact that it does perform well i still think it is good value. I would definitely recommend for the price.

Well worth it cools my system down drastically overall temps went s from 45'C to 30'C when combined with my other radiator. Now I need some free fans Amazon. Lol....

I purchased the dual 120mm rad for a custom cooling build. I specifically wanted a full copper rad to eliminate internal metal compatibility issues that you could encounter if you use an aluminum rad with copper water blocks. The Alphacool showed up as expected undamaged, and install was a breeze, they include all the g1/4 block off plugs, as these rads have almost an unlimited amount of port customization. So far performance has been fantastic, and the loop is leak free.

Alphacool fa pompe dell'acqua ridicole, ma i radiatori sono davvero ottimi. Ho provato EKWB, XSPC,ecc.., ma questi sono migliori, sia come qualità costruttiva, sia come veridicità delle misure fornite: XSPC 240mm spesso 36mm ha una massa radiante di 20mm, mentre un Alphacool 240mm spesso 30mm è spesso veramente 30mm!!!
