This a refrigerant scale. It is made to weigh your refrigerant and reclaim tanks. So yes...not sure why you couldn't use it with 134A jugs. As a business we own 3 of these. 1 failed within a few weeks. Elitech had us the replacement within 48 hours. Before we shipped ours back. Great support and great product.

Is this scale for recovery only or can it be used to charge also

This scale can be used to both charge and recovery

Does the scale come with a certificate of calibration?

I didn’t see a certificate of calibration. It has the ability to re-set it to 0 before each use. I’m very pleased with it. I’ve checked it with a known weight amount and it’s been correct every time.
