Good fit
These are really nice jar lids. Fit wide mouth perfectly. Glad to have a product that won't rust. Would buy again.

Best of all the jar lids I have used
We use a lot of jars, for everything from storing leftovers, to storing our bulk dried goods, to freezing sauces. We don't even own regular drinking glasses - we only use jars. Mason jars are just so versatile, we use them for just about everything you might need a container for. Unfortunately the standard 2-piece lids that come with the jars are good for canning, but they rust terribly. We have completely stopped using the regular lids and have switched over to all stainless and plastic lids. I have ordered and/or used no less than 7 types of jar lids, and these are by far the best for anything where you want an air/water-tight seal, such as storing leftovers or packing lunch. The stainless is easy to clean and won't rust in the dishwasher. The silicon gasket seals quite well, comes right out when it is time to wash the lids, and are equally easy to put back when everything is clean and dry. I just take the gaskets out, and put both the lids and gaskets right in the dishwasher. We also use a dry-erase marker to write the date of leftovers right on the lids. While they are a little pricier than some of the plastic options (we use plastic lids for dry goods because they are cheaper), they just work so much better than anything else I have found for day-to-day use. From my experience, anything without a gasket will leak... because of the way glass jars are made, the rims are not perfect, and you need a soft gasket to conform and seal against those subtle variations in jar shape. All the plastic lids that I have tried (including ones with gaskets) were disappointing. I cannot recommend these highly enough. 2020 Update: I am now ordering these for the 4th time because we keep using them for almost everything and we need more. We have been using these for a couple years now, running them through the dishwasher regularly, and they have held up well. Not sure if they are made of a 304 or 316 grade stainless, but whatever it is, neither vinegar nor salt seem to affect it. A couple of them have dents from where the jar got dropped, but they are designed in such a way that the gasket still makes a great seal, even with a dent in the corner. They are definitely more expensive than plastic lids (we use plastic lids for dry goods), but nothing else we have tried is as useful for leftovers, sauces, dressings, etc. stored in the fridge.

Hard to undo
These are good but they feel like they get stuck to easily. They just seem to cling to the glass threads on the jar as they get screwed on. They did not rust and did not leak, white is good.

Meh. They fit
They are fine, fit well enough and do what they should do. I put was paper between the jar and the lid to prevent rusting

They are able to be boiled
They are simply the best you can have at home

Essential for a no plastic kids glass
We used these lids, silicone grommets, handled glass mason jars and stainless steel straws to create plastic free drinking cups for our kids. If we want to travel, we simply put a solid lid on and we haven't had any leaks (unless we forget to put the silicone washer in the lid). These are great and have held up well to daily use. The kids love them and the total solution is mostly leak proof (a little leaks out of the straw). We have bought a few sets of these and plan to purchase more. No more plastic straw cups! These also work very well for closing canned goods that were opened and then put in the fridge. It is much easier than messing with the flat and rings they were canned with.

Does not function as anything more than a decorative lid. Will not seal without popping off. Poorly designed. Waste of time.
I am not sure how this person sells these with a clear conscience. They do not seal. The only way to get the lid to actually close completely is to remove the silicon insert.....but then they aren't airtight. Don't even think about putting liquid in a mason jar with these as the lid! The lid pops off! I tried to make hot tea for transport and the lid popped off! I would be scared of legal action from someone who got burned if I were this company. Amazon should not allow these to be sold for anything but decorative use. These should be taken down unless the description is changed. These are definitely not for food storage. The positive reviews on here must be from people who got paid.

I have really enjoyed using these
I have really enjoyed using these. Not having to deal with the weak rings of the standard lids for Mason jars is great. No rusting thus far. My only complaint is that the silicon sealing ring can get a little loose between uses, but this is a niggling thing and not too important.
