Do you ever lay in bed at night feeling guilty for the money you’ve spent that day? I’m definitely guilty of this. I wanted to force myself to write down what we were spending. I bought this for our family finances. Writing it down is hard. It forces you to face reality vs just swiping a card. I really enjoy this expense tracker for this reason! Initial impression is that it is well made. I love that it says expense tracker on it; but not so largely that you’d be embarrassed to have it labeled. The interior layout is perfect- I find it extremely easy to jot down an expense. It doesn’t feel like a chore to do so. My only wishes were that the tops were labeled “month” instead of “year”. Instead of check number, I write which card (or bank card) was used. I really enjoy using this tracker.

I bought this because my mom had bought one and I liked hers so much I figured I would use one. I really like it so far. It's pretty basic and does what I need it to. I am able to write all my bills and keep track of everything. I can also keep track of planned expenses and then add in any unexpected expenses. It's kind of like a check register but much bigger. While it is very large, you could still slip it into a tote bag. I paid $11 and I think that’s pretty on par with what I would have paid at my local Wal-Mart.

I’m starting my retirement now and need to track 100% . I was never a tracker but hope this holds me accountable. Wish it had pocket for receipts.

I love this! I like to track my expenses. A check register is annoying & id always run out of space. This notebook is exactly what I needed. Unlike a check register, the size of the page is conducive to normal handwriting. It’s easy to see where to record deposits and payments. The page layout is basically a larger check register. There are so many pages that it will last me a while - so a great value. There are deep pockets to put thingss like receipts or checks you’ve deposited via a mobile app. It’s hard covered & the spine is set up so pages don’t tear and turn easily. I’ve purchased this for gifts as well.

It's a perfect mini ledger. If you need something for detailed tracking, this doesn't have the space. I'm very happy with it.

Good quality and simple way to keep track of expenses.

This is a nice, compact and good looking book. It has columns for check (obviously not English lol), date, description, debit, credit and an end column for running balance? The 1st and 2nd columns are a bit tight for getting a cheque number or date in, but the others are ok. I run a little business selling nail art, so am planning on using it in April to keep my written accounts, and will divide the page into weekly sales and purchases. I will then be able to check these off on my bank account. I am sure that it is designed for domestic finances though, which does not interest me , as I have online banking, but I suppose it might be useful to teach a teenager how to budget, as some may think that bank accounts have a never ending stream of money. lol. I know it is easy to spend using a debit card, as it sometimes does not feel like spending "actual" money....
