I picked up the CRST 6 outlet heavy duty power strip for my garage workspace and have been very happy with it. Right out of the box, it feels sturdy and well-built. The metal housing is solid and doesn’t flex or creak like the cheap, no-name strips I’ve used in the past. SETUP AND USE The six outlets are spaced far enough apart that I can plug in big adapters without blocking the other sockets. The 6-foot (1.8 meter) cord is long enough to reach across the workbench, and the mounting holes made it easy to secure to the wall. The switch is firm and clearly marked, and there’s a light so you know it’s on. SAFETY AND FEATURES The 15A/1875W rating gives me confidence when running heavy tools or charging batteries. It also has a 2100 joule surge protector, which is a nice upgrade for protecting gear. The strip feels a lot safer and more reliable than the generic, unlabeled ones you see everywhere online. A quality 15A surge protector with a 14 AWG cord and a 2100J rating is sufficient to safely run most powerful 120V tools (as an example). SUMMARY If you’re looking for a power strip that’s actually heavy duty and won’t leave you guessing about quality or safety, this one’s a great choice. It stands out from the cheap knockoffs and gives me peace of mind in the garage.

Love this power strip I’m using for medical equipment works as good as any hospital grade one would and far less expensive. It’s made very well metal construction and the plugs are spaced appropriately so you can actually use all the plugs. It’s perfect, it also has a decent length cord great design all around. It’s also got a a pretty big surge capacity that’s just a plus. Works perfectly so far I’m thinking of getting a few more so I can protect my desktop computer and some other backup medical equipment. Super easy to use just plug it in and that’s it.

After 3 months, it kept popping my circuit breaker. Unusable to me. However as soon as I posted this review, their customer service contacted me even though the return window had long passed. They identified the problem as a defective contact in the device and sent me a new one within 2 days. I just started using it today, so we will see how it goes. I will give them 5 stars for great customer service and keep you posted if there are any further problems. If you don't hear from me, it's all good!
