## Questions & Answers

**Q: is tyre usable after repair**
A: yes its very good. i used mine over 2 months ago. i had to add a little more air pressure a few weeks after but nothing like i was experiencing before. just be aware that the tyre pressure reading might read artificially high once the foam is inside. mine was reading at 65-70psi but it was definitely not that high. maybe more of a problem with my pump (although it reads accurately on the other tyres), but it is worthing being aware if it.

**Q: can this be used on bike tyres with innertubes?**
A: I don't think that it would be safe to use in any inner tube as you could not see extent of damage to the inner tube without removing the tyre which would defeat the object of a quick n easy repair. Really meant for tubeless motor cycle and car tyres only as a temporary emergency repair to get you home rather than as a long term fix. I have used successfully on both motor cycle and car tubeless tyres. On both I removed the nail/screw that had caused the puncture and then used the tyre repair foam to seal puncture and inflate the tyre which then got me home and lasted a few days until I could replace the tyre. Garages and tyre fitters will not repair a tyre which has had this foam injected and will only replace the tyre with a new one. This "hidden cost" means it is really only useful for emergency use.

**Q: I keep loosing tyre pressure in the driver side front wheel and there is no puncture. My car tyre size is 225/40z R18. Will this work??thanks.**
A: I suspect this tyre size is too large for this sealant. Mike

**Q: Will this damage my alloy wheels if used?**
A: No, not as much as the next element to cause risk to the wheel that of air or nitrogen. The answer if this stuff works, yes it does it makes the difference of riding or walking home.

    Good price.

Good price... another make used to be available in a smaller size I have this for my bicycles (one uses "tubs" a tyre that can't be repaired or replaced at the road side) this has got me home more than once. I have used this type of product in the past on a car and a motorcycle well worth having it inflates the tyre to a usable pressure you need to finish pumping up to the correct pressure asap the "foam" plugs the puncture. If the driver can't change a wheel at the road side this should be in the car... The downside is most places will NOT repair a tyre once a product like this has been used, the reason is the amount of time needed to clean the tyre well enough to make a safe repair (who pays for the labour) plus it could be argued that it was not a safe repair due to the sealant being there in the event of the repaired tyre failing they would be open to a claim, so garages just say it can't be repaired the patch and glue won't work because of the sealant - it's a new tyre. But it should keep you going rather than stopped at the road side.

I always keep one of these in the car

Punctures are always a problem no matter when they occur. Mine seem to always occur late at night in pouring rain !!!This can sprays a sealant into the type and has enough gas to inflate it. These cans of puncture repair have saved my life on many occasions. They work on small and simple punctures quite well but not on large rips or side wall damage, if this occurs I'm afraid no system works except for changing the wheel or calling the AA or RAC.My new car does not have a spare wheel and comes with one of these cans instead. I just hope any punctures I get are simple and that this will fix it.Once you have used this to inflate a wheel it is best to get an expert to check the type at the earliest convenience as you don't know how sound the fix is until it is checked. I normally replace the type after a puncture and using this inflation can.Overall.A life saver if you have a small puncture but don't use it on wall damage as it does not work in my experience.

    How to fix 'A Hole-in-One'

*by R***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 November 2013*

I always keep a fresh one in my Boot now but used one on my Previous Car (Volvo). When my Volvo got a flat it was just as well I had this handy as the Wheel Nuts were on solid & required a trip to the Garage just to loosen them! These work great esp. as Winter approaches - you do not want to be messing at the side of the road with Car Jacks & wheel Braces.* A cautionary tale though.- there might not be enough Air Pressure in the Can to inflate your tyre to a Comfortable Driving Level, as it can be a rather messy affair with air and product loss at the valve intake when initiating!? Make sure it is seated on the valve as securely as possible, but even with some loss the stuff that you do manage to get 'inside' the tyre will be enough to seal the leak.**And my other tip - try to keep some kind of tyre inflator in your boot so you can add more air to the tyre immediately after applying this Product (or get to a Garage Forecourt and use their Air Facilities).p.s. I actually drove around on the same tyre after using this for Months without a problem - though the manufacturer does NOT recommend this :)
