It peels potatoes easily and the skin does not get stuck in the blade. Not to mention that the blade is very sharp. The size is right, the grip is right, and the price is right! Excellent kitchen tool. I replaced my 50 year old peeler with this one.

A must have for peeling vegetables. Works so smoothly and easily on butternut squash, carrots, beets, sweet potatoes. The handle is comfortable and easy to hold while peeling. A real work horse. Does an excellent job on potatoes. I expect similar results on other thick skinned items.Comfortable in the hand and peel falls away without binding. Four rather than 5 stars simply based on lightweight construction generating some concern about longevity.
