These socks work great. If you are looking for something to keep your feet warm, these really aren’t designed for that, but they do a great job of protecting the feet when getting in/out of the water, particularly when you can’t see the bottom. They stay on very well while swimming & keep anything from getting into the sock, like dirt or sand.

Pretty warm. No holes; the bottom is like regular socks or house slippers.

I use these when climbing hot sand dunes. They are nice. Minimal sand still gets in, but it's the best I've found so far.

I purchased a Small. I wear a size 8.5 shoe and I'm so happy with the quality of this sand sock. The fabric does not rub or bunch up on my foot. They fit like a glove made for me.
