U.S. Solid Handle Adjustable Water Regulator Valve- 3/4" NH Thread NO Lead Brass Adjustable RV Pressure Regulator with Pressure Gauge and Water Filter Net

We've been using this pressure regulator during our last few camping trips, as I'd accidentally left a similar unit behind while hurriedly breaking down and preparing to return home from a trip. This regulator works great, and while easy to adjust if needed, didn't requite any "tweaking" upon receipt. This type of regulator doesn't noticeably affect the water pressure unlike the cheap in-line type which are provided with many RVs, and can be adjusted based on personal preference and/or site conditions. Most campground water systems provide safe pressures, but given the characteristics of most RV's water lines, fittings, and fixtures, these regulators are very cost-effective insurance.

Update: The gauge on mine quit just a bit short of 4 years. That being said, I'm not here to revise my rating, because I feel like that was a reasonable service life, especially considering that the gauges weren't glycerin-filled when I bought mine. I think the remainder of the regulator is fine, so I just ordered a replacement gauge for about 11 bucks, and I think that will solve the problem so I don't have to replace the entire unit. So, that's something to consider if you have the same problem. I really like this regulator. I'm a new RV'er and everything I read said this is a must-have accessory. The quality of machining and construction on this is very nice, and it's solid and heavy. I doubt that I'll be adjusting it much, but the reason I like having an adjustable model over the regular in-line type regulator is that it has a gauge, and I can see what the pressure actually is. Tip: Keep the package it comes in! It's delivered in a cardboard box that has a fitted foam insert that holds the regulator protected from impact. It's perfect for keeping it safe from damage between uses.

Bought this water regulator about one and a half months ago , it functioned very well, very happy with product. But started to leak a couple days ago near the gauge, found it was cracked were gauge threads into housing.contacted amazon for return, and was sent replacement the next day. Very happy with customer service. Thank you.
