After ankle surgery, swelling has become my unwanted full-time companion, but thankfully this cooling pack has made things much more manageable. The cold therapy is really effective at helping reduce swelling and providing some much needed relief after being on my feet or following my exercises. The Velcro strap is a great feature,it keeps the pack securely in place without having to balance it awkwardly or stay completely still. I can actually move around a bit while wearing it, which is a huge plus during recovery. It’s also excellent value for money. The quality feels good, it’s comfortable to wear, and it’s versatile enough to use on other aches and pains once my ankle finally decides to cooperate. If you’re recovering from surgery or dealing with swelling, this cooling pack is definitely worth having on hand. My ankle may not be sending thank-you notes yet, but it’s certainly complaining a lot less. Can be used on different parts of the body, only point of note is can be really cold when straight out the freezer so use a tea towel to prevent freeze burn.

Good value did the job perfectly

These boots have been a life saver when spraining your ankle. Easy to go on after popping in the freezer comes with velcro fastnings. Feels very cold at first out of the freezer but bare with it as takes that swelling right down. Use each time for 20mins which is about right once you feel the gel inside becoming squishy. Can also use them warm in the microwave but do be careful.

Bought to help alleviate achililies tendon pain. If put on as shown they don't apply enough cold, so found if you put them on back to front they work ok
