Is there a plot that is the tech industry constantly changing the ends of charging devices in order to force us to have to purchase new charging cables and paraphernalia all the time? I would have to say so. This magnetic based cable system is the answer to that. Comes with little doohickeys that you place in the charging ports of your cell phone, tablet, or whatever type of device you have that needs charging. More and more home products are not using batteries but are based on charging to run them. This system then comes with a series of 7 cables that will attach magnetically to any of the doohickeys, the exposed end, so you don't need to find or use specific or dedicated cables that are only for one device. Works with micro-USB, lightning, and USB-C ports. I ordered this set in red so I would see the cables and not trip over them. I also ordered a set for my son who works in tech and was very interested to see this universal system. I have subsequently ordered more of the doohickeys, which you can get separately to fit even more devices. Only issue I can determine is that they are not the rapid charging style but standard speed. Not wrong, but some people are impatient. The various lengths of the cables, up to 10" long, allow you to easily use a device while charging too. And in truth, it is kind of fun to just feel the snap as the magnet attaches. The end of the cable has a little light on it so it is super easy to make the connection and the cable end fully rotates so there is no bending cord wearing out issue ever. Highly recommend.

This is a remarkable product. The ends snap together effortlessly. You just need to put the phone in the general direction of the cable to start changing. Modern phones have such great wireless connectivity that you won't mind not being able to use the USB port for connectivity. Great value for your money. It's great to be able to use the same cable for any type of phone. The way the connector swivels and rotates ensures that the cable will never fray or break. Since you are not plugging in and out the connector, the port on your phone will not deteriorate over time.

So convenient and saves the wear and tear on the actual plug! Very flexible and the connection is wonderful! My only disappointment is that it really doesn't work on my tablet very well, but I'm sure it's due to the advanced age of the tablet itself, it slowly trickle charges at best.... And all the other items I have that need USB charging, it works nicely!

If you have a tablet being used by kids, you know. The magnet is strong enough to hold a good connection if there's no strain on the cable. Once there is, it disconnects cleanly -- no more cable abuse. Also helps save the device port. A regular cable bending back and forth can cause the contacts in the port to wear out or become loose. Eventually the device can stop charging, or the cord has to be held at a certain angle for the charge to work. Eliminating the cable strain avoids that. I had to shim one side of the connector with a small piece of sticky note to get it to consistently make contact with the port to charge. But, I think that's due to the wear my kid already put on the port by straining the cable. Glad I didn't wait too long.

Update: even Statik broke. I guess magnetic charging cord technology isn’t advanced enough yet. Bought name brand Statik and loved it so I decided to get more in bulk for my electronics and my family. The cord itself had a light at the end (gets covered when plugged in so you actually have no way of telling it’s working when plugged in) and nothing would charge. I tested multiple tips and multiple cords in the pack and none worked. I even tried their tips with Statik’s cord and Statik’s tip with their cord. Nothing worked. In fact, the cord draws so little power it did attempt to power my wireless charger. The wireless charging pad has a light indicator showing it’s receiving power and it kept flashing (normally runs solid with power) meaning it was drawing some, but not enough power. I also tested the cords on different power adaptors so it wasn’t a power adaptor or electricity problem with the outlet. Also it doesn’t have great magnetic stick. It is very easy to disconnect and barely holds on. I can’t pick up or set down an object with it plugged in without it disconnecting from a weak magnet. I do not recommend. Luckily it’s within the return window. Just spend your money on Statik so you know it’ll work.

I love these charging cords. They swivel on the phone end. They have a fast charging time, and don't fall off your phone, nice magnet to them.

Let me be clear, I do like the product. They seem well made and it charges just fine. The issue is data transfer and it’s particularly my fault that I didn’t scroll all the way down to see that it doesn’t do data transfers. I don’t intend to return them but they aren’t as useful to me and I wish it was more clearly stated.

These work awesome! Rapid change function works on my phone with these. My last phone died because the charging port quit working and it didn't have wireless charging as an option. These cords should prevent that problem with my new phone. Ordered several sets so I have enough cords and devices plugs for the whole family's charging needs where we go.

Absolutely amazing and work great. They do not transmit data however so not useful for downloading photos. For charging they snap into place when placed near and charge well. Love the built in pivot points. Putting the tips into your devices takes nimble fingers but only need to be done once and fit tight If you are ordering more tips make sure to get the same kind with a center pin and not the 7 pin or spiral type. I ordered 2 extra packs of type c center pin tips as most tech is going to type c charging. I wish I had done this earlier. I used the 1.5 foot cord in my car. The 3 foot at my desk by my computer and the 6 ft on our bedside tables. I will be buying one more set so I have a supply for the future.

Magnets are strong and cord is made well. However does not work with Carplay and does not transfer data, pictures, etc

Great product, I recommend everyone convert to this method of charge for everything that accepts USB-D Micro USB and lightning, that is plugged in and unplugged multiple times in its lifetime.

Did not work well at all. Magnet kept sticking in devices. Very slow to charge even with a good block
