Beautiful work of art!
Beautiful work of art. I love the special handle with the blend of shadow wood garnet and natural resins. It really does look like a star! the balance is brilliant and you have full control over the blade. Incredibly sharp and glides through food like water so you have full control as it is only 180 grams. The Gyuto shape is amazing and It is a mind blowing fact that it weighs lighter than my mobile phone. I love the Damascus hand folding method which gives a waves effect on the blade. It feels amazing in my palm with a starry handle and a wavy blade. Amazing work of art!

Japanese quality
Splendid knife. Great craftsmanship. A knife for most tasks completed with ease. Hard to find a better knife. I'm a chef for 27 years so know the value of a great knife for tasks in the kitchen. No hesitation it will last forever with the right care. Sharp is an understatement .Very happy with my investment.

Very sharp and beautiful craftsmanship
Light weight, good comfort and good balance. The blade has good finishing and is great for professional work. Yes, it's made in china by using Japanese steel and craftsmanship, but either way, I am happy with my purchase. If you're a chef and looking for a semi decent knife, this one is the way to go. But if you want something with more weight, Global is the best choice.

A terrible lie
Disgustingly terrible quality! Its not even damascus steel! Its engraved pattern. The handle is a piece of plastic rubbish. Feels cheap and flimsy. Unbelievable. I would give 0 stars if I could

Unbelievably sharp
The knife is amazing quality and extremely sharp. Genuinely feels as if when cutting and chopping up food its like cutting through butter.

Amazing! but does come with a price tag
At first I couldn't understand why a single knife could cost so much, but after receiving and using it, I can understand why. The quality of this knife is outstanding and when I used it to cut through a corn of cob and it honestly sliced through it like butter, with minimal effort. How good this knife is is probably wasted on me, but it is a joy to use it and makes chopping and cutting so much easier. I do plan on giving this to my brother who is about to begin his cookery adventure in college and a really good knife is a must, so this would be perfect. The pictures do show a nice patterned design on the blade, which was disappointing when it arrived as it didn't have that design on it. It comes in a really nice and portable case, with blade protection and sharpening stones included to ensure the blade stays at the best quality for as long as possible.
