Darware Complete Serving Set (6-Piece, Silver); w/Pasta Server, Fork, Slotted Spoon, Ladle, & Cake/Casserole Server

For the money, this is a nice set. A careful shopper will look for product dimensions and see that these pieces are NOT "standard" size - - the size you would use for cooking - - which are typically 12 or 13 inches long (see pix for comparison--this set on the left, store bought pieces on the right). For my purposes, as I will only be using these for serving on holidays or for company when my tablescape is set with gold instead of silver, they will be fine and are in fact a bargain as compared with other serve ware I recently purchased (see pix). They have no rough edges and have a nice matte gold appearance. I will be using them for the first time tomorrow and will report back if they don't hold up to use and washing.

perfect little camping set. Fit perfectly in my chuck box I made. I'm very pleased with the quality and size.

The set looks good for the value. However, I did not like the fact that some of the utensils seem more sturdy than others, specially, the fork is not as thick as the rest of the utensils. It bends too easily.

This set arrived today. I was so excited to get my new kitchen utensils. I hurriedly opened the box and my husband and I started laughing because they looked like toys. I purchased these to replace my very old set because the handles were falling off. These don't even compare to the size I'm replacing. I thought cooking utensils came in a standard size. Well, you learn something new everyday. They are so cute though. I'll keep them, but I will have to purchase another set. At least this time I know to check the dimensions. I'll have fun using these until I get another set. I just can't use them in any deep pots. A very nice set. I wish I could find a bigger set just like these, because I love them!

Too short. I’m sure if I had paid closer attention to the length in the description and compared that length to my current serving ware, I would not have ordered them. Now I know to pay attention to length. The handles are too short and will fall into my pots/pans.

After 6 months of infrequent use, I'm noticing that the mirror finish is fading (I want to say chipping) away at the edges of the pieces used most often. To be honest, I was suspicious when I received this set because nowhere on any of the pieces does it say "stainless steel". Believing it to be the healthiest if not safest choice, stainless steel is the only metal I'd ever choose to use in food preparation. I'll be contacting the company to inquire further as to the true nature of material contained in this utensil set.

I gave this as a gift. My friend was thrilled with the collection. Said it was Great!
