Exactly what I was looking for!
This checkbook cover is exactly what I needed. It is large enough for my checks and check register to fit in easily. It is stiff enough that I can write a check while holding it on my lap. There is room for a pen inside as well.

Great quality leather and clean design
This CoBak premium leather checkbook cover is very well made. The leather feels soft but sturdy, and it looks much nicer than the basic plastic covers most banks give you. It fits my checkbook perfectly and has enough slots for cards and a register without being bulky. The stitching is neat, and everything lines up the way it should. Simple, classy, and functional. A great upgrade if you still write checks and want something that looks and feels higher quality. Would definitely buy again.

As described
Several people were upset that this is not made of leather. The description clearly states that it is polyurethane leather, which I found to be a confusing label, but clearly meant it isn't leather. I found it to be a good quality, plastic item, especially for the price. It's only failing is that it couldn't accommodate the pen that I placed in the indicated place, although the pictured pen seemed to have a smaller diameter. All-in-all, it does a good job of living up to its description.

Not leather
I should have known from the price this wasn’t leather, and if you dig into the info it does say PU leather. I don’t know what PU stands for, but it’s fake. That being said, there’s nothing wrong with this. I wanted this color to match the color project that this checking account goes to.
